My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time at your house. We were able to relax and enjoy peace and quiet away from the busiest of the city. The sunrise, the fresh air, the sounds of the birds it was awesome. Definitely worth the stay for a romantic getaway for couples! 3
We had a great time staying at the northern fortress. It truly is a gem tucked away in the heart of vermont.
Ned's absolutely beautiful fortress provided exactly the experience I was looking for. Serene, sophisticated, quiet, private, and removed from the chaos of the modern experience. I will surely be returning.
This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at the Fortress, and it was just as great as last time! Spectacular views, spacious interior, and all the necessary cookware to prepare a great meal to eat at the great table. I was able to go for a nice run on the snow-covered road, and it was just wonderful. We will definitely return again next year...it is quickly becoming a tradition for us!
We had great time. If u want to stay away from nowadays busy and stresfull life North Kingdom Fortress is a great place. No internet even my phone had no signal. You dont need them anyway. We never met Ned, everything was good to go. You should definitely see the sunrise in the morning. During the day we went to town of hannover its only half an hour from where we stay. Its a nice town with bakery stores and starbucks.
We will come back.
Thank you Ned.
The house was simply amazing. I spent the weekend myself to do some thinking and planning for my business. It was the perfect place. I highly recommend the Cafe 232 for lunch. Great people. Do heed everyone's warning about cell reception, but I loved being disconnected. Print out any and all directions to places ahead of time if you don't have GPS as all of the twists, turns and hills can easily disorient you if you're not used to that kind of driving. It's the kind of place you want to not share too many details to others about so you're able to book it again in the future!
