  • We had a wonderful stay at Alang Alang! It's about 10 min from Ubud center by motorbike (they rent and are in great conditions). We decided to go to the temples by our selfs with the motorbike, though they also provide you with transport. The place is quiet, clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly! We even stayed one additional night. Ketut will give you excellent advice on how to wonder around beautiful Bali and go in to the temples with out having to hassle with tour guides! Hope you enjoy as we did!

  • I have stayed in these smaller rooms as well the larger cottage. Definitely the cottage is nicer, but these small rooms are a good deal. There was a drain issue in both my and my friend's bathroom, but that was the only problem. The staff there is great.

  • Great room on a great property! So wonderful to have a desk in the room, my own sitting area on my porch, great breakfast, a thermos of hot water for tea, and a beautiful clean bathroom. There are scooters available to rent, though I chose a bicycle. The property is a good 45min walk from the main street in Ubud, so keep that in mind when you book. I spent my week there mostly reading and occasionally going into town. But they offer different excursions should you want to take part.

  • Good place to stay, small room, with a nice place to sit outside. Food is good and really good price. People are friendly and helpful. They will arrange transport if you need any!

  • Mr. Ketut and his family took care of me in the absence of Mr. Fujita and the experience was great! The family was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable about activities in the area and great places to go. Mr. Ketut even picked me up in the middle of the night when I called. Very cool guy with a cool family and the breakfast was delicious. Oh yeah... the place had everything I needed too. :D

  • I've spent there one week, just relaxing and discovering by motorbike the Ubud countryside. The place is just 10 minutes away from really nice rice terraces, Ubud palace and the monkey forest.
My room was nice and clean, the family always smiling and ready to help. Last but not least the home cooked food: the best I had in Bali!
    I will definitely go back!

  • very inflexible, could not contact fujita through airb'n'b to ask a qestion, only by making a booking. we then did not hear back, although I left a local phone number. when travelling in Indonesia people are not always online!! anyway, I paid the money, booked two nights, but could not make the first night as we did not hear back. we wanted to stay the second night but was told we would not be accepted as guests.

    Response from Fujita:

I am afraid that I cannot understand what you are talking about.
Your booking has been just one night.
And I have asked you by email and on the thread of the message that if you wanted to change the schedule or book one more night, please did it though air bnb. But you did not do it.
We use Air bnb system and you use air bnb system to book,
so we must go along with Air bnb system.
That is the simple things we think.

  • Fujita's place was adorable and quaint. The property is beautiful and clean. The room was simple and just what I needed. The caretakers of the property were so sweet and helpful! The breakfast was great too! It is about 2 miles away from the city center but easy to get to by motorbike. Thanks!

  • Mr.Ketut was a very kind and welcoming host. Even though I was only staying one night (as I had prebooked other accommodation earlier) he picked me up at the airport, drove me to my new place and showed me around town. If I hadn't already had another place, there is no doubt I would have stayed longer. Thanks Mr.Ketut.
