Although we did not get a chance to meet Madison, she was very helpful and pleasant to speak with. The apartment is cozy like home, clean and spacious. Short walk from public transit (well in record breaking cold it seemed far!)
If looking for a great coffee and breakfast spot nearby, you should check out Manny's (sooooo yummy & owned by dough).
Highly suggest this Airbnb AND Manny's.
Madison's home was lovely and we really enjoyed spending a few days there. Really comfortable home and she provided us with some great tips for the area. Would gladly stay there again! Thanks!
Madison was wonderful, and everything you would want in a host. Her responses were quick before checking in, and once I was there, she was warm and welcoming. It was pretty cold in NY when I was visiting, and she was kind enough to bring down a space heater for me (though the apartment was comfortable to begin with), and even gave me a bag of coffee for the morning. She was able to give clear advice for getting around the city, and recommendations for picking up groceries, getting cabs in Brooklyn, and where to eat. All in all, five stars for Madison and her lovely Bushwick apartment!
Great experience. The space was as clean and wonderful as it was portrayed in Madison's listing. Her instructions were clear and easy to understand. The list of restaurants & transportation was extra helpful. We wish our trip had been longer!
Friendly greeting late at night, in street parking was pretty easy, lovely place worth everything I needed
Madison was great. The apartment is the perfect size for one or two people and I am a pretty giant dude. She had a list of cool places to check out and was really helpful with navigating the city. I would recommend her place to anyone.
This cozy one bedroom was a nice temporary home for my stay in NYC. Situated in the Bushwick neighborhood, there are places nearby for coffee etc, and the the J train is very close. It was squeaky clean but also had amenities that made it feel lived in, and Madison is an excellent hostess.
