There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms each with heated floors. We've also got two other Airbnb homes on the property (The Knotty Oak - Sugar Pine Cabin) with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and The Knotty Oak Schoolhouse 5 bedroom (sleeps 10). We also do weddings & retreats check us out online! We can also add some twin beds in any house for an added fee.

The space
The Knotty Oak complex and is spacious, warm, inviting, colorful original Anderson Valley homestead, and has unique art and local history incorporated into the meticulous renovation we did. We love celebrating the quirky and unique history Anderson Valley has.

The Homestead House sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms, and we can add a twin mattress or two if you need more beds. The cost for each twin bed is $80 per night, per additional bed.

The bedrooms are outfitted with Eddie Bauer camp theme sheets (adorable!) , firm and soft pillows, comforters, extra blankets, and soft lighting when needed.

The kitchen is a cook's dream with:
Viking 6 Burner Range w griddle-tons of BTU's
Thermador fridge column
Thermador freezer column with ice maker
Viking undercounter wine fridge
Cuisinart Toaster
Waffle iron (with waffle mix and real maple syrup!)
Microwave
Bosch dishwasher
Black & Decker Stainless Thermal Carafe coffee maker
Starbucks coffee packets
Bodum electric kettle with an assortment of teas.

Separate large pantry area with farm sink in addition to main sink, great for entertaining.

It's a great kitchen for catering and chef's classes or demo's. It's huge and so easy to work in.

There's also a large wood deck off the French doors in the dining room for outdoor hanging out with a table and hammock. Sometimes there are deer walking thru the yard! There's also an enamel drink cooler outside to keep wine and drinks cold while you're enjoying the outdoors. There is a Weber BBQ available.

The Homestead has custom appointments, mid century furniture and antiques, and lots of quirky touches like colorful yardsticks as accents, a Jackalope, and cool artwork. The wifi is really robust.

There's a vintage faux fireplace in the living room for some instantly cozy ambience that turns on with the flick of a switch and even makes fake crackles. There is a fab multi speaker bluetooth stereo inside and out.

The bathrooms have Malin + Goetz bath and shower products and makeup remover towels. Each bathroom has a huge shower, plus one of the downstairs bathrooms has a Clawfoot bathtub and the heated floors in each bathroom are so nice!

There is a 110 EV car hookup available if you have an electric car. Please let us know in advance if you will need it.

The gardens on the property are just stunning and lots of shady spots to hang out in.

We also have our own private access to Indian Creek which is a gorgeous shady spot, perfect for adults and kids to explore, look for crawdads and fishes, and be in nature.

We did a full multi year restoration of the house and people have been loving it. We hope you do too!

We provide a welcome bottle of wine, and refreshments in the fridge as well as some snacks.

Please note it is no smoking, and most dogs are ok with prior approval for a fee of $125 each.

There is normally a two-night minimum but sometimes we can be flexible on that so send a message if you only need one night.

We usually can accommodate an early check in and a late checkout if you need it - we always try to make that happen if we can. Just ask!

We have two other Airbnb homes on the property: The Knotty Oak - Sugar Pine Cabin with 3 more bedrooms, and 5 bedroom The Knotty Oak - Schoolhouse. All together we have three houses with a total of 12 bedrooms. For an added fee of $80 per night, per bed we can add a twin bed in any of the houses. Each house will fit 1-2 added twin beds.

We love to host private groups and weddings & events so please reach out for quotes on those events. (Events, offsites, and parties are not allowed on the property without a separate contract and insurance.) You can see lots more pics on our site so have a look!

Check out The Knotty Oak online as well! We have a great site with lots of event information.

Hello from beautiful Philo! Nearly all the materials used to restore the three homes at TKO are from reuse and salvage, but there are many modern comfort touches for a cozy stay. We hope you enjoy this quirky and unique mix of old and new. Thx!
