Welcome to Fishwife! This stunning, newly built beachfront home in Galveston offers panoramic views of the Gulf and is located in the only gated, beachfront community on the island. Our beachfront community is the closest to the historic downtown and lets you experience the best of Galveston with its vibrant downtown, fantastic restaurants, and shopping
The space
Fishwife offers 3,300 sq. ft. of luxurious space with 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from over 1,400 sq. ft. of exterior decking, perfect for taking in Gulf sunrises and sunsets. Inside, you’ll find high ceilings, white oak flooring, and elegant tile throughout. The home includes 4 master bedrooms with king beds and private decks, plus a bunk room with 6 XL bunks, accommodating up to 14 guests. This is also one of a few houses in the area with an elevator that provides easy access to all levels. Perfect for family vacations, friend getaways, or anyone seeking relaxation and privacy while being close to all island activities.

Misuse of the elevator can cause safety shutdowns requiring a technician to reset.Technicians may not be available after hours or on holidays, potentially delaying service for several days.
We strongly encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance if they are concerned about the possibility of cancelling their stay for any reason. As a small business, we are unable to act as your insurance agent in case you need to cancel your stay, and we will honor our cancellation policy. However, in the event of a mandatory evacuation from the island due to a hurricane, we will issue a full refund.
During holidays and summertime, there is a minimum stay requirement of 3 nights.
