Hi Travellers, call me April. This is my 7th year in BC and my fifth year in Victoria. So far I really love it here. Before Victoria, I lived in Vancouver for two years, Hamilton for two years, Toronto for six month in Canada. Prior to coming to Canada, I lived in Xiamen and Chongqing in China. Originally I am from China. The reason I left was I wanted to experience sth different. Toronto was my first choice but I relocated due to my career choice and guess what? I don't really want to go anywhere anymore. Victoria gave me a sense of belonging and the weather here is really nice. When I have absolutely nth to do, I go Kayaking in Elk Lake, cruising around in Sooke and Sydney, have breakfast with friends at Cora. Never second doubt of my decision to come here. This is my third year hosting on AIRBNB. Victoria is a slow-paced city with more wildlife and reserved nature. The whole island is composed of beautiful coast lines, lakes, beaches. You can randomly pick up some sort of wild berries. Basically you can run into deers everyday on the street, by the lake, in the garden. You can spot at least three to five different species of birds when you are close to water. They said this is the most beautiful place on the planet and I wouldnt argue with that. Also, the weather in Victoria is the best you can get in Canada. I have been wearing short-sleeve tshirt since April. I haven't turn the heat on ever since. Please note that due to the nature of home-sharing business, we are not running a hotel and we might not be available to meet with you 24/7. All of my listings offer self check-in so you probably won't meet me in person. However, I am just one message away if there is any emergency. If I am travelling I will have my partner in Victoria handle issues. No matter you are travelling to Vancouver, or Victoria, you are making the right decision. You can't get any better places in Canada that is for sure.
