"I've been all around Poland, but you were the best...many thanks Mark, I will never forget!"
Thanks men, please have strength in bearing this inconvenience that has befallen you. You can me and him on the pictures :)

Servio is great host and well immersed in the hospitality community. Despite being very busy, he was so welcoming and helpful with tips and recommendations about Sopot and Gdansk. His rooms are massive and have an enough space for an entire family! That's my place for any future visit to the area. Highly recommended.
Servio's appartment was perfect!
He was available for us if ever we needed help, very welcoming and generous.
The location is close to everything in Sopot. The room we had was spacious, nice and comfortable. I definetely recommend it!
Thank you again Servio!
Amazing time in Sopot.
Servio and his mother are really kind .
I passed 3 wonderful's weeks.
The house is cosy , very clean , well equiped. You have all you want to pass great time.
Servio's mother is an excellent cook.
Servio is very benevolent with his guests.
I recommend deeply this host.
Moreover , Sopot is a very beautiful city , very quiet , perfect to discover the Baltic sea.
Servio is a very attentive and kind host. He was very communicative before we arrived and upon our arrival he greeted us with cookies, coffee, juice, maps of the area and told us about some local attractions and what was interesting to see. Servio's English was excellent and he made us feel very comfortable. We usually rent apartments whilst traveling so this was our first experience in renting a single room. Servio was respectful of our privacy but made himself available (he stayed in the room next to our room) if we needed anything.
I was struggling to find anywhere in Sopot at such late notice. Servio was very helpful and managed to find me a room in his home. Very basic but the warm welcome compensated. He gave me maps and an initial orientation which was helpful and even met me at the train station; above and beyond what I expected.
We stayed for 3 nights at Kwatera during the festival time and definetely liked, almost everything, friendly, nice desposition. Would try it again the next year!

About the Host, Servio
Hey there adventure-seekers!
I live in the heart of the heart of Tricity (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia - you can check wiki). Sopot is the most popular tourist destination in Poland, rewarded 2 times as the fastest growing city. With the Monte Cassino area and other crowded attractions on one hand and old silent forest and Lysa Gora mountain (with its awesome view) on the other it can cater to the needs of both a people person and a lone wolf.
My family owns 2 flats which can be rented all year round (separate rooms or whole flat). Occasionally I manage my friends flats as well (I did so more back in the Euro 2012 era). I know the area quite well since I was born here so if you need anything in Sopot/Tricity, please let me know (even if my flats are booked I'll help you find a good place to sleep). Talk with me and I will find the offer that is best suitable for you. I am open to suggestions and negotiations but always strive to give you the most "bang" for the least "buck".
I had the pleasure of hosting people from all over Poland but also England, Italy, Sweden, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Holland, Ukraine, Russia, Spain, Turkey, USA, Chile, Philippines, China and Korea - the list is growing year by year :)
A little history lesson ->
I was hesitant at first to rent my place, but rather sooner than later I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT and really enjoyed meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life and different countries. After transcending the 'baby in the woods' level I was soooo happy that I can somehow serve people, by giving them a walk around or just simply talking and answering questions. I aspired to be a Host with the Most and always got a warm response. My first person from outside Poland was a korean student of photography who went on a trip around Europe and had to face 2 years in the military when he came back instead of pursuing his career (makes me sad!). This is his text message he sent to me before boarding a plane to Seoul:
"Thank you! I've been in many places in Poland but you were the best. I will never forget!"
You can see Kim on my Kwatera Zrodelko photos ;)
I believe in karma and it has proven most astoundingly when I was in Israel in September 2011 and in Sweden with my girlfriend in nov/dec 2011...I always loved to take good care of people when they were with me by for example showing them around or at least attending to their needs and I got this back (times million!) when I was abroad. Some unexpected and beautiful things have happened! This is called synchronicity - being in a perfect place in a perfect time. Life sometimes gives you this gift (when you allow it to).
I have decided that even if I have a million dollars some day (which will surely happen :)), I won't stay in a Hotel when I travel, but I will still visit other people's flats...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE! I could not for example UNDERSTAND Sweden if I went into a Hostel or a Hotel. It is the stories, the evening walks with the Host, the random meetings on the street that showed me the true face of that country, a country which in my mind was cold and boring became one of my favorite places on Earth (what a lesson in humility!) - so much so that we've christened it SweetEden. Thanks Life!
Thanks also flows to you for taking the time to see my profile and listings!
Have a great experience in Sopot!
I also make music! My artistic name is Servio Dao. My government name is Mark :)
