The Space

Come crash after a long day of enjoying Memphis in my centrally-located historic home in Annesdale Park, which straddles Downtown, Midtown and all the major expressways! There are four bedrooms to choose from with hardwood floors, two clawfoot tubs, a large kitchen to cook in and ample parking outside. I'll even bake you some scones with jam in the morning, because we do it up *right.* And the premises are 100%, certified ghost-free, guaranteed.

This home away from home is located just blocks from Memphis' famous old-timey trolley headed straight for Beale Street and about 15 minutes from Graceland. And we give rides to visitors to and from the train station or airport, in exchange for your funniest joke or travel story!

This listing is for your very own Green Room - it's green, it's a lovely, comfy room, and it could be all your own by just sending me a quick hello! ^_^

  • Jamie had everything ready for us: bed, room, breakfast, a lot of nice post-its all over, wrote us a huge mail with indications and made everything to make us feel alright.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet her. Just by chance, she happened to have to go away. But she left a friend of hers in charge, Dallas, who was very nice and made sure we were alright and didn't need anything.
The house is awesome and was clean and nice and warm.

Maybe the only thing on the bad side, it was a long walk to everywhere, but that's how Memphis is! It's actually near midtown, but with a car or a bike, it would have been perfect!

  • Too bad I didn't get to meet Jamie as she was out of town, but other than that I had an awesome stay here but I'm convinced she must be a great hostess 'cause this place simply rocks.
Out of the seven or so Airbnb places I stayed at, this is the one I enjoyed the most for a variety of reasons.
Value for buck 6/5 stars (so that's one bonus star!).
    Highly recommended.

  • Jamie was so sweet and such a gracious host! We stayed 2 nights and she provided a wonderful breakfast spread each morning. The house is very warm, comfortable, and in a great location. Thanks again lady!

  • Staying at Jamie's was like staying with a friend. She was absolutely the perfect hostess: prompt & clear communication, welcoming and clean home and best of all a genuine, warm person concerned with making her guests feel at home. The vintage space, original art and quirky amenities are a reflection of Jamie's personality and were totally appreciated. I especially loved the little notes she left all around the house--they brought a smile to my face everyday. The quiet residential location is convenient and the common rooms are spacious. It was great to visit with fellow guests at breakfast and Jamie's offerings were beyond expectations-home made soufflés, regional delicacies, fresh fruit and delicious baked goods. I'm already planning my next visit!!

  • Jamie has a wonderful house in Memphis. It was spacious and had a special authentic feel to it. The common space is great and the kitchen is enormous. I wish we had more time to spend in the house, but we were there only overnight. Jamie was very welcoming and friendly. We had to leave quite early, but she still made sure to give us a snack for the road. She is a fantastic and easygoing host with a great sense of humor. If you are passing through Memphis, or planning to stay for a bit, you can't go wrong with this place.

  • We did not get to spend much time with Jamie, unfortunately, as we got in very late, but I could tell she was a super sweet girl just from the small interaction we did have. She accommodated us late and last minute, which was super helpful, of course. She had a welcome table with some tourist information, snacks and mints in the room, and everything was nice and clean. We were late risers and did not see Jamie in the morning but she had left us some muffins and fruit (including heart shaped watermelon slices) for breakfast! I also loved all the cute post-its she had around the house. The neighborhood was full of beautiful houses. And her dog, Tank, was so sweet I had to convince my fiancé not to dognap him :P Would definitely recommend!

  • I stayed with the lovely Jamie for only I night but for the price and breakfast inclusive I could not have asked for more. Jamie was very welcoming and I enjoyed my stay at the house.
