Bob was an incredible host. He picked us up from the airport and suggested us to do so many amazing things in Chiangmai. Our stay in the city would not have been the same without him.

The Teak house is a great place to stay if you want to stay in Chiang Mai but perhaps don't want to feel like you're in the bustling city. Bob's guest houses are quiet, clean, and comfortable. In these houses you feel like you are tucked away in the jungle. Bob takes pride in what he does. Bob picked us up from our bus station, rented us scooters, gave restaurant recommendations. Bob is a great host.

My husband and I stayed in one of Bob's teak houses during our trip to Chiang Mai and we had a lovely time! Bob is a great host and drove us to and from the airport. He also offered to take us in to town a few times, invited us into his home to hang out with the other guests, and organized an elephant farm excursion! His place is in a residential area, although looking out your window you feel as though you are in a jungle. There is a 7-11 and a few restaurants 5 minutes walking distance from his place where we would have breakfast and coffee. Please note that this Airbnb is about 25 minutes outside of Chiang Mai square. We had no problem getting into town in the morning, you just hop on a yellow bus for 20 baht a person (about 50 cents). On the way back we would take an Uber because it was the most convenient. The house itself was spacious and pretty comfortable. The bathroom was fine- not a lot of water pressure in the shower but at least there was hot water! The place is decorated nicely and we enjoyed relaxing in the morning on the porch. I would highly recommend this place!

I'm from Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada
I've lived in Thailand for many years and have done business here for 20 years.
I have a 15 year old daughter who lives here on the property with me.
The houses on the property are all converted antique rice barns and up-cycled teak wood houses that I have built with the help of people in our village.
Part of what makes this Air bnb experience great for me is all the travelers I have a chance to meet and the fact that through this endeavor the people who come to stay with us are helping to support our local Thai community and families in the elephant village that our guests have a chance to visit. I look forward to hosting you here in Chiang Mai.
