The apartment itself was nice. The view from the balcony was amazing! Close enough to everything. Check-in process and address for finding the place was a bit of trouble but I'm sure that they can work this out by updating check-in instructions.
The host: Communication was very easy even though several people correspond through one account. Rachel was nice and very helpful in accommodating my length of stay and budget. Check in was very easy and I appreciated them being there to meet me after typical check in hours.
The apartment: Super nice and hotel quality. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms and kitchen have great amenities, wifi is good, and linens are nice. Everything was super clean. My only disappointment was that although there is everything you need to make a cup of tea or coffee, there was no actual tea or coffee in the house. But they had a hair dryer, which made up for it. (I forgot mine!)
The area: Very central, close to a lot of things. However, you'd need to walk 10-20 minutes to find anything - even a small mini market. It would be great to have a small list of the nearest shops so that they are easy to locate.
Overall, it was what I needed and very comfortable. I think for the typical Airbnb traveler wanting to explore Dublin, this building might not be the best fit, as its a bit lacking in that unique accommodation vibe that staying in someone's apartment or home will give you. However, for a business traveler, couple, or small family wanting a very safe and conveniently located apartment - this might be the place for you!
