There is a strict no smoking policy. Please come in the side entrance quietly if it is late at night to respect neighbours and us. You are staying in a residential area so don't chose it if you are planning late nights and partying. No extra guests.
Michal was so welcoming, helped with the luggage, and showed most of her hospitality to us introducing the facilities of the well self-contained studio. And she was so generous with food provisions that make us feel like at home. We enjoyed the leafy garden and had warm times with jess the doggy. Michal left us with great privacy and gave information about what to attend, so we had great time around and in the Centennial Park. We and the boy enjoyed the peaceful and great stay at Michal's.
Michal was a lovely host and her artist studio was perfect. It was cozy, well equipped and she even went out of her way to make sure we had rice milk. Our day started with us chatting over a cup of tea. She had tourist info on hand and was available during our stay if need be but respecting our privacy also. The location was perfect for us, a short walk to the bus, restaurants nearby. Michal joined us for breakfast on our last day at bill's, known for the ricotta pancakes. She was actually kind enough to drive us there as we were still getting used to the opposite from the United States kind of driving. We strolled down the streets even stopping at the Salvation Army for a looksi. Second hand stores are a favorite of ours. Michal has a beautiful spirit and we felt right at home.
The studio was as described. We were late arriving, so the key was left for us to find. We really enjoyed our stay.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Michal's flat, The location was perfect for us to venture to our engagements in the Eastern suburbs and the inner west.
It was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Food provisions were most generous.
Communication was timely and easy,
I loved this little slice of peace in Kensington! The flat was clean, tidy, exceptionally comfortable and full of amenities. Michal was a fantastic host, helpful, welcoming and friendly, she brought me more food than I could eat in a week for my two day trip! I would heartily recommend her flat to anyone looking for a relaxed place to stay in Sydney. Her dog Jesse is beautiful as well :).
About the Host, Michal
Hi, I discovered Airb&b when planning a trip last year. We had a great time and stayed in 8 listings in 2 continents. I took my time choosing places and it paid off. All the 8 listings were very good and a few were outstanding for different reasons. All the hosts were genuine, caring and interesting people. We took care of their places and have been invited back to all of them. What more can I say? As a guest traveling the world I know I was looking for a good sleep on a comfortable bed and a pleasant outlook that felt safe so I could enjoy being a tourist .The fact that we also met lovely interesting people and that I didn't break the bank with Hotel prices, well that was good too.I can confidently offer you this with my studio listing and its location is perfect for accessing the city, universities and beaches.
I love nature and enjoy nurturing my garden and other creative activities. I can point you in the direction of art galleries and good live music.
