  • Pauline's Apartment is the perfect base for trips to all over Amsterdam - inside the city centre and beyond.
Clean, cozy, and well-organized. Looking forward to come again...

  • Nice apartment close to city center. Clean, nice beds. Fully equiped, everything you can think of. And an AH very close by.
    Very convenient and friendly welcome.

  • Excellent home very close to Amsterdam city center by bike/car or by local transport (bus station is just 2 blocks away). Everything was perfect, apartment was clean, towels clean, everything in place. Recommended 100%

  • Paulien appartement was nice and clean. Noting negatief about it.

  • This is a well-equipped and comfortable apartment just outside cental Amsterdam. There are frequent buses into Central Station (takes about 10 minutes) but we mainly used our rented bicycles, and it was so easy to be anywhere we wanted.

Paulien was flexible with our arrival, as I arrived 2 hours later than the rest of my family.

Compared to some apartments that we stayed at, this one had more of the useful things that you sometimes don't get, such as an orange juice squeezer, wooden spoons, ceramic baking dishes etc. (we used all of the above). Fittings are new and in good condition.

The neighbours must be shift workers as we heard them coming home at around 5a.m. and then their TV was audible most of the day, but not so loud as to be a real problem.

There is a good supermarket just around the corner, easy to walk to.

  • My family (wife-Sophia, and daughter-Damai) had a great stay in Amsterdam, and staying at Paulien's place was a great cultural experience for us. The apartment was very pretty and functional, the shower room was beautifully done, ample of light and fresh air, and conveniently located. I love the nespresso machine, which is very handy for me. We didn't get to meet Paulien directly, but her friend Martijn helped us in and was very friendly. Thanks Paulien (and Martijn), will certainly recommend your place to my colleagues or anyone. Cheers/Terima kasih!

  • This is a brilliant, brilliant apartment. It's clean, comfortable, spacious, very well equipped and has good links to Centraal Station and the town centre. And although Amsterdam has much to offer, the apartment is in an area well worth exploring in its own right.

My son and I certainly appreciated having our own rooms and the liked being able to cook for ourselves, as that was something we couldn't easily do in the place we had previously stayed in. There are local bars, cafes and shops within 3-4 minutes walk, as is the bus stop. Excellent value and unhesitatingly recommended.

Paulien was on hand to meet us. She speaks good English, is a mine of information and is really friendly.

  • We had a lovely stay at Paulien's apartment. All communications with Paulien and the check in with Ashley went very smoothly. We loved the location of the apartment and wish we had more time to stay in Amsterdam. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you, Paulien! Kim

  • I would highly recommend this apartment!! It is located close to the grocery store, close to the bus to Central Station, and Pauliene is wonderful. I was sorry that we did not get a chance to chat more, but we were in a rush to leave, as I was meeting the airline crew from United at the Renaissance Hotel. The apartment has lots of amenities and is very clean. The bathroom is great--good shower!! I have been a flight attendant for 43 years and this apartment is very comparable to nice hotels (sans the daily cleaning service, which is NOT necessary). I would definitely stay here again, but I think my days of international travelling are over. The apartment is on the third floor, which was not a problem for us, but it could be for some people who cannot do stairs. The beds were very comfortable. The picture above the sofa is great, although some may be offended by it. Five stars for this apartment!!!!

  • We spent two weeks at Paulien's apartment and we were very comfortable. In addition, Paulien arranged for an airport pick-up for us which was really helpful after a long transatlantic flight. Communicating with Paulien was always quick, easy, and friendly.

The apartment was very bright and spacious thanks to a big living room / dining room, as well as an extra small bedroom that we used as an office. It was also super quiet.

The apartment is located in an up-and-coming neighbourhood with plenty of great restaurants (Holy Ravioli and the Dutch translation of “Sweet People” at the corner of Spaarndammerstraat and Nova Zemblastraat, to name just two), as well as cheese shops, bakeries, grocery stores and more all just around the corner. Plus, two main buses are right outside the door and it takes only 10 minutes by bus to get to Centraal Station. There is also a beautiful local park and other great neighbourhoods (Jordaan) within walking distance.

    We highly recommend Paulien’s place!
