  • We had a lovely time at the chalet - we enjoyed the like minded conversation of other mountain lovers. The view from our window, picnic table, and hammock was incredible. As well Aaron went out of his way to help us with gear, arranging lift tickets, giving us a lift in his van, and helping to find gluten free restaurants for us. Fellow celiacs - he know the restaurants to go to and helped phone each one to confirm and reserve. A true champion! Try La Revola or L'Impossible. Cheers mate

  • Aaron's bohemian chalet is the perfect mountain get away, cozy with a family vibe, lovely walk into town, an awesome and ridiculously happy big grey dog (Gus), always a wee dram available, and a magic view of the mountains - reckon it would be awesome in summer with the garden BBQ!

  • Aaron was such a good host that within 4 nights we were seriously considering moving to Chamonix. The location is fantastic - you're a 20ish minute walk from town center, but more importantly, just a 5 minute walk to rock climbing, a 15 minute walk to trails up to Les Bossons Glacier, and just a 10 minute uphill jog up to spectacular views of the Alps! Aaron made us delicious breakfasts each morning (frittata, quiche, scrambled eggs, plus cereals, toast, and delicious fancy coffee!), and even made everyone a wonderful fondue dinner on our last night in Chamonix! Plus, when we mentioned we rock climb but didn't bring any equipment with us, he loaned us ALL his gear (rope, harnesses, chalk and even shoes) so we could have an incredible day of rock climbing in the Alps.

Our room was adorable, very clean, had a view of the Alps as well as a balcony! The living room downstairs has two large couches for lounging, a big map of Chamonix trails and mountains that Aaron knows very well and can explain to you, and a kitchen you're allowed to use for cooking if you like. The backyard has a hammock with an incredible view of the Alps - it is impossible not to feel relaxed here.

    In short...stay here!!

  • Aaron is the most enthusiastic and friendly host I've met!He did help us a lot.We were the real beginner in ski,and we didn't have any idea about how to do in chamonix. Then he was really kind, phoned to the MagicCarpet to reserve the lessons and also recommended where we can rent the ski stuff. We have the nice experience of ski in Savoy! And the Chalet was clean and warm,we felt really comfortable there.Otherwise, Aaron is also a chef, we tasted the fantastic and manifold breakfasts day by day! What a fantastic journey in Mont-Blanc,and it is hard to forget! 謝謝你,艾倫Aaron.

  • We spent two nights here and had a wonderful time. Aaron was a great host and welcomed us warmly. The house is beautiful with a well-equipped kitchen and stylish touches. We had the back bedroom which was a little chilly but warm enough under the blankets. A+++ would do again.

  • Best place we've stayed on our entire trip! I can't say enough great things about Aaron, the Chalet and our stay in Chamonix. Aaron is the perfect host. He is warm, knowledgeable, welcoming, and an amazing cook (we all chipped in for a meal he prepared one night)! We loved our stay here and the vibe his place has, especially his adorable Weimaraner, Gus. We will definitely be back and recommend his place to our friends and anyone traveling to Chamonix.
    Thanks Aaron!!

  • Imagine waking up in the morning, taking the first deep breath of the day, inhaling all that fresh mountain air. Imagine walking out your front door, and being hit smack in the face by the fantastic beauty of the the Mont Blanc Massif. This is what your reality will be if you stay with Aaron. His place is absolutely amazing, cozy, and convenient. His expert knowledge of Chamonix and the various experiences one can have in the mountains will definitely be helpful to you.

When we first arrived (to run in the mountains for a weekend) we got there late at night. Aaron had cooked us dinner (at only 10EUR!), an amazing cheese fondue that we shared with his other guests at the time. The wine floated generously and many an interesting conversation was had.

A few days later we went out to dinner with Aaron and his friends, and had a great night!

Stay with Aaron, you will not regret it. This will make for an absolutely amazing travel experience.

I’m relaxed, friendly and I love to help. I’m a traveller and have been for 15 years. I enjoy visiting new places and showing people the places I love the most. Chamonix has been my "home away from homes" quite a few times over the years and I have decided to make it my base camp from now on. The mountains provided me with inspiration and enormous beauty. I’m a keen skier, snowboarder, climber, trail runner, speedwing and paraglider pilot. Its a joy to wake up amongst the stunning back drop of the Chamonix valley and no matter the weather or season there is always something to do. Feel free to message me if you would like to know anything about the accommodation, activities or Chamonix in general. Im here to help. ABOUT LEANNE: I met Leanne when I was working for the Chamonix Red Cross. I found her in a parking lot where she had been staying for a few days. She was warming herself over a small gas cooker, which wouldn't have lasted the night so I took her in, fed her and gave her shelter. This is where our story starts. Leanne was a Scottish Refugee seeking asylum in France after being persecuted for her alternative lifestyle and dirty hair. After a month of retraining and 13 bottles of "Head and Shoulders" Leanne was integrated into the general population and started working as a gypsy handler/keeper. Leanne's time wandering the globe as a "Vagabond" aided her in recognising their needs. She soon became one of the stars of the village and her work was highly sort after. Leanne and I started Chalet Inora as a way for us to have a better lifestyle, showcase our skills and provide a warm and caring environment for whom we like to call "Independent Travellers". We both hope you choose to stay with us! Chalet Inora (its the Bees ankles)
