Aaron and Dani are amazing. They are fantastic hosts, super friendly, and you feel like a close friend after only a couple hours. The place is a 30 minute walk from the nearest lift, but right next to bus stops and the train station. It has a beautiful view of the aiguille du midi and you get to hang out with Gus, one of the coolest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of hanging out with.
Aaron is also a great cook and breakfasts are delicious! Book this place if you get the chance.
A ditto of my first review all around. Different room in the Chalet, same great experience. Thanks to you all!
Was looking for a base to do a week of ultra trail training and i came across this place. I booked based on the use of a kitchen (im vegan) and good wifi (i needed to work also).
It turned out it is PERFECTLY situated for long touch trail runs.
But even moreso the ultra chilled atmosphere of the place was really great due to the nice people staying but of course the host Aaron who would bend over backwards for his guests. (speaking of that he woke up at 5 am on my departure to drive me to st gervais so as i would not miss my transfer home!!!)
Ill be back !
Cool and quirky hostel come home stay in a small chalet room, sharing the lounge, seated desk/eating table and kitchen with 3 other rooms. Very chilled out as owner Aaron sets the tone with his easy going and friendly manner. Super lovely and helpful guy who is very natural and genuine. Facilities and cleanliness is excellent with 2 good bathrooms. Breakfast was very good with loads available. 20 mins walk to chamonix but if you by the lake way it is pretty nice.
Thanks to Aaron and Leanne for helping to make my stay in Chamonix a very enjoyable one. The accommodation is clean and very comfortable, with the house as a whole a very nice blend of seemingly original and modern fixtures and fittings. Even more importantly, guests are made to feel very welcome, not least through lots of extremely helpful advice on how to make the most this amazing Alpine area. I look forward to returning to the Alps, and this wonderful base in Chamonix, in the not-too-distant future!
We booked for 4 nights but only managed to stay for 1. We missed meeting Aaron as he was enjoying some deserved downtime in Corsica, but we were delighted to meet Gus (the dog!) and Marion who looked after us and we enjoyed chatting about her travels around Australia.
The chalet is very quaint and cosy. We got a great night's sleep in the Bossons room and had a squiz at Drus and Brevent; the rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and the facilities ample in the two bathrooms. We were unlucky with weather and tooth infections, and the last 4 nights were affected by a family emergency. Aaron could not have been more accommodating. We had to call him late and drop our friends in the middle of the night, but he was so cruisey, kind and understanding. Thanks Aaron. We hope to visit another time!

I’m relaxed, friendly and I love to help. I'm originally from New Zealand and I have been traveling now for 15 years. I enjoy visiting new places and showing people the places I love the most. Chamonix has been my "home away from homes" quite a few times over the years and I have decided to make it my base camp.
The mountains provided me with inspiration and enormous beauty and I cant imagine a better place to hang my hat at the end of the day.
I’m a keen skier, snowboarder, climber, trail runner, speed wing and paraglider pilot. Its a joy to wake up amongst the stunning back drop of the Chamonix valley, at the foot of Mont Blanc and no matter the weather or season there is always something to do.
Feel free to message me if you would like to know anything about the accommodation, activities or Chamonix in general. I'm here to help.
I hope you choose to stay with us at either Chalet Inora Chalet Haute Boheme
