The space

The Blue Moon is built completely with salvaged materials. The flooring and ship lap walls came out of cotton seed warehouse in Quero Texas and includes a rare oval front door from the early 1900's. It is one large space with loft.
Tiny Texas Houses Bnb is a unique experience different from any other place. Our Bnb is located on our 43 acre property which we now call Salvage Texas, which also includes the Tiny Texas Houses building site, “Manifestation Bay”. The Bnb guesthouses are just a small part of our sustainable living operations. All of our Tiny guesthouses as well as the Salvage Faire event center and market (currently under construction) are made with re-purposed materials from homes and barns throughout Texas, some as old as the early 1900s. The old structures were carefully dismantled and stored in our extensive warehouses, which now hold enough wood, doors and windows to build over 300 Tiny houses.
Each tiny house is unique and lovingly constructed by our team of builders. All of the interior furnishings and decorations are also salvaged and up-cycled pieces from other projects. The result is a beautiful and one of a kind Tiny House in a rustic rural setting. Our Tiny guesthouses are a small demonstration of the methods and materials available to build affordable houses from functional and beautiful material that would otherwise end up clogging our landfills.

The Blue Moon is a fantastic weekend getaway spot. It was very relaxing, comfortable, beautiful, and unique. I will definitely be coming back to stay in more of the tiny houses!

Beautiful views. Great animals! House was strategically set up to wake up with the sun. Very charming. Only complaint is the level of cleanliness. Would still come back. Very romantic! Community bath house is awesome by the way!!

This is such a magical place. Really great to get away from everything and spend some time in the country! The houses are made of all recycled material, and each tiny house has its own personality and style. I stayed in Blue Moon and loved it, but will definitely be back to stay the Vicky Too and Gingered Swan! Loved my stay there, and Cat is a lovely host!

This is truly a magical place. A longtime fan of Tiny Texas Houses, it was a check off my bucket list to stay here. The Blue Moon was charming and provided plenty of space for my husband, infant daughter and I. Cat, our host, was attentive and kind and saw to our requests instantly. I feel like staying here is an alternative therapy of sorts. The invitation to ground and reconnect to nature is infectious and I feel lighter and happier upon returning to my daily routine this week. I can't wait to return and perhaps try one of the other houses! Infinite Gratitude from the Rainer Family. Lauren, Brandon & Mabel

Salvage, TX was part of my research for a personal small, rustic home. Situated in the southern portion of the post oak savannah zone, these quirky homes are clumped among prickly pear, retama, mesquite, and other vegetation that demand respect but provide (to humans) shade, cover, fuel, and food (nopal). The Blue Queen is as pictured, designed for sleeping, round table activities, and porch life. Nice sunset from "magic mountain." Braver folks than I partake in the mud bath. Only wish I could have turned down the volume on I-10.
