About this listing
Nestled in the Green Mountains of Central Vermont, our secluded 16 acre Mountain Valley Retreat Bed and Breakfast in Killington offers a unique opportunity to privately explore wetlands and mountain terrain uninterrupted by traffic and the din of city life. This unique home has three bedrooms. Two of them have double occupancy queen sized beds which we rent. The Queen Room with a Spring is a corner windowed bedroom with a natural spring close by. My wife Barbara and I live in the third bedroom, welcome guests, serve breakfasts, and maintain the property. We have two common bathrooms, one upstairs, and one on the main floor. Each room offers spectacular views of some of the world’s oldest mountains and the narrow valley headwaters of the Ottauquechee River.
Skiers, snowmobilers, golfers, hikers, bikers, fisherman, rock hounds, birdwatchers, kayakers, nature lovers, art and antique devotees, and other souls seeking refreshment are guaranteed satisfaction. The chance to commune with nature at our Mountain Valley Retreat is well worth it. No matter what the season, no matter what the weather, we are confident that your experience with us will be a memorable one. We encourage you to view our four season presentation to select your perfect retreat.
From the Mountain Valley Retreat the world class Killington Resort is 8 miles, Vermont's #1 municipal course, the Green Mountain National Golf Course is 2 miles, the Appalachian Trail is 1/2 mile from our front door. A drive in any direction evokes memories of the past as our guests travel through mountain valleys and bucolic Vermont farmland.
