The Space

This is a one bedroom penthouse located in the Old City, just off Temple Bar, It has a private solid wrap balcony with seating area and lovely views of Dublin's rooftops with sunsets in the spring and summer months.

Location could not be better.
it is situated just off the famous Cows Lane (don't miss the local craft market every Saturday) in Old City that is on the edge of trendy Temple Bar. This means Temple Bar is on your doorstep with all its restaurants, pubs, shopping and nigthlife, however the noise of of Temple Bar is not. Neither is traffic as it is located on a smaller street.

All major tourist attractions such as Trinity Collage, Dublin Castle, Chistchurch and St. Patricks cathedral are less then a 5 minute stroll away. Shopping districts Grafton street and Henry street is less then 10 minutes away, together with St Stephens Green and Merrion Square to name a few.

Located on the 4th floor it is flooded with natrual ligth. It is newly renovated and new to the market.
Kitchen is fully fitted with new appliances and everything you might need.
It has a solid wrap around balcony with charming views and a seating area that is just perfect for breakfast (when weather permits). The balcony has 2 entrances, one from the living room and the other from the bedroom.

The entrance hall has an amazing high ceiling with stairs down into the rest of the apartment.
There is an relaxing seating area with flatscreen TV and a bright dining area (for those days when there is a bit of rain in the air).
Bedroom has a comfortable double bed and storage.

50 MB Wi-Fi fibre broadband is included, as is cable TV together with towels and bed linens.
There is no hidden fees for cleaning or simIlar and I am trying to be flexible when possible with check in and out times.

For longer stays there is cleaning once a week included in the price.

Please note No Smoking is allowed inside and No hen, stag or other parties are catered for!

  • Great apartment in an ideal part of town - close enough to all the fun, but quiet enough to get good sleep. Malin was very responsive, organized, and was great at coordinating with our schedule.

  • We had a great stay in Dublin in Malin's apartment. Malin met us right on time and showed us to the apartment. It's a great space in a perfect location. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures. It has everything you'd need. There's also a nice wrap-around balcony with a great view of the Temple Bar area.

This is the place to stay in the city. There's a ton to do and it's an easy walk to everything. We'd definitely stay here again if we get a chance to go back to Dublin.

  • This is a great apartment right on the edge of Temple Bar. It's on the side with the indie stores and arts organizations, and not the side with the chaos of all the bars for tourists. Having said that, on the weekend, a few drunks could occasionally be heard, but nothing that's a big deal.

The apartment is on the top floor of a 5 story building, affording great views and a lot of bright light, which I loved. Everything was quite clean, and the kitchen seems equipped with all you need, though I didn't cook. The fridge is the typical half size, and the wifi is strong. You're a block from City Hall, the Castle, and so on. A great location.

FYI - bring your own soap.

Malin met me at the Queen of Tarts (yum) café around the corner right on time, and contacted me partway through to check to see if all was OK. I'd definitely stay here again.

  • My mother and I stayed in Malin's apartment for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The apartment is perfectly located, clean, and bright.

There was some noise from revellers but nothing too disturbing.

My only note would be that I had assumed the couch in the living room was a pull-out (I never followed up). It was comfortable enough for me but perhaps not for others and so you'll need to share the bed.

Malin also went above and beyond ensuring we had a smooth check-in and check-out and was very accommodating.

  • Beautiful apartment. It's in temple bar, but it's tucked away in a quiet alley. A perfect spot.

  • Great apartment with an great little wrap around balconey from which you get plenty of light, a nice view of an old church, turned into a playhouse, next to a pedestrian street with great cafes and shops. Quiet bedroom but just down the street from the best of Temple Bar, steps from City Hall, Dublin Castle, and Christchurch Cathedral. Perfect location! Beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment with excellent super-fast private internet. Malin was great, was waiting for us when we arrived, and cheked with us to make sure everything was going well. We'll definately stay here again the next time we're in Dublin!

  • We were visiting Dublin for the weekend. Malin welcomed us on arrival and helpfully showed us around the apartment making sure everything was in order. We needed some groceries and Malin hepfully walked us to a nearby convenience store.

The apartment itself is stylish, clean, tidy, comfortably furnished and nicely laid out. The balcony runs down two sides of the apartment with lovely views across the surrounding neighbourhood. When we were there it was too cold to make much use of the balcony but in warmer weather it would be very nice to spend time there. The rest of the building is clean, stylish and secure. The is ideal for exploring Dublin, on the edge of Temple Bar, five minutes from Dublin Castle, ten minutes from Grafton Street and close to the river Liffey if you want to cross the Ha'penny Bridge. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet and charming and has lots of small shops including a great bookshop - Gutter Books - and a bakery beside the apartment building. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Dublin again!
