The location of this apartment ia very close to center city, it has a few great cafes, eateries, and its in walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. Its also a 10-15 min. down Federal street to the world famous Geno's and Pat's Cheese steaks near East Passyunk Ave. With a very quick subway ride or walk into Center City there are countless places to eat outside on a good Philadelphia day.

The apartment is as described and true to the photos. It's about a 30 minute walk from the city centre with easy access to the subway. The neighbourhood is not the cleanest, but safe to walk around.
Lamar is a great communicator. The key pad locks made arriving at the apartment easy without having to meet up and make a hand off, and there is a lot of street parking.
The apartment was comfortable, and everything you would need for a short or long stay. The cable television was nice little surprise too. This was a great place to stay for the weekend!
Great little apartment, comfortable bed, big TV, easy to get places, lots nearby. Clean.
The bathroom has an older style shower so if you're big/tall you may have to do a little bending. I'd definitely book again.
Staying at Lamar's was a great experience. The apartment itself is very cosy and has everything you would need for a short stay. Lamar even gave us a welcome bottle of champagne which was very generous and greatly appreciated. The apartment is very clean and only a short stroll to the subway station. A note for future travelers to Philly for the first time..the convenience day pass is a waste of money - just buy the tokens. Thanks Lamar, we really enjoyed our couple of days in Philly, and your hospitality and comfortable place to return home to made all the difference. Pete And David
This is the perfect place to stay in Philly! It is two blocks away from the train and the bus. Parking its available within that same block. The studio was nice and clean. We had complimentary drinks, thanks Lamar for that. He is a great host.
My first Airbnb experience was fantastic! Lamar made me feel like home with this place. Everything was well organized and clean and I appreciate how he took care of us. I would strongly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place mins away from Philly.
