Antonio is a nice person and makes you feel very welcome. The apartment matched the description given online well. It was clean, in very good order and well equipped. He asked for feedback and listened to my comments carefully, saying that he will take care of a few (very minor) issues. The neighborhood is very nice and the apartment is nicely located in Grotta Ferrata, minutes away from Frascati and from the expressway to Rome. Overall, I had a very positive experience in Antonio's place and should I need to come back to the area I will most likely contact Antonio again for his apartment.

This accommodation would be fine for a short stay (a couple of days) or during the summer months because its location under the host's house with large leafy trees blocks out a lot of the sun. We stayed for 4 weeks during a wet November so the environment was a bit too humid and moist for comfort. Positives: Dishwasher, 2 bedrooms, large apartment, quiet location, washer, free parking, Grottaferrata is a nice town with nice parks for kids, close to Frascati, inexpensive, fairly good wifi. Negatives: Dirty on arrival, lack of kitchen utensils (we needed to buy basics like chopping knives and chopping board), no mop and floor very dirty, unreliable shower temperature - intermittent hot water, water pooling around ankles in shower, no dryer - apartment too humid to dry clothes on rack, parking on street about 100m away is dependent on availability, no phone reception in the apartment, quite a lot of mould on walls and in draws.

I am not sure if you will find a finer host than Antonio! A superb Gentleman who helped us on numerous occasions. He and his wife and son are such a wonderful family who made us feel at home immediately. The self contained accommodation is great. We got our privacy and cooked our own meals in the superb kitchen. We had a parking space for our car on the property which was welcomed. Thanks for a great six nights Antonio.

Antonio is extraordinarily helpful and nice. The offer entirely matched our expectations. A perfect place to stay if you want to see Rome and something beyond.

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Nice and cool even though it was quite hot outside. Antonio was extremely helpful and, despite his protestations, speaks English quite well. This would be a great home base for exploring the towns around Rome!

Response from Antonio:
Thanks Frank, you are very kind and magnanimous species on my level of English :-) I wish you a good cameback trip to home and good luck.
