  • An amazing place to stay in one of Atlanta's most beautiful neighborhoods! The unit is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need at a price that blows nearby hotels out of the water. Debra and Dennis were great hosts--super nice and easy to communicate with. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Atlanta and will definitely be seeking it out the next time I'm in town!

  • This place is AMAZING!!!! We were sad to leave. Clean, impeccably decorated, and all the comforts of home. We cooked several times and we had everything we needed in the kitchen!!

  • Debra and Dennis are incredibly accommodating and their house is beautiful! Right from the moment we arrived we felt at home, and it was truly an oasis to come back to at the end of the day indeed. The neighborhood is sweet, quiet, and beautiful. There is a cute main street a short walk away with restaurants! We did not want to leave :) Thank you so much to Debra + Dennis once again for being such wonderful hosts! I recommend them above and beyond.

  • ...we came down for a girls' trip while the husbands worked and wanted a homey place to stay... the pictures didn't do the space justice
! We actually decided on the first night there to just sit on the porch, drink some wine and enjoy the weather! I can't say I've said that about any other space I've stayed in, that's how much we loved it!
One of the best parts of the stay was having all the amenities of our own homes available in the space. We brought our own coffee with us (not knowing they would graciously provide it!) since we knew we'd have a coffee maker, we ate out one day and could bring leftovers back since we had a full size fridge (along with some of the wine we bought at the local market), etc.
Not only were they great hosts, they were friendly and approachable if we needed anything! The fuzzy, 4 legged greeter outside added a nice touch of home for us.

  • The space was cute and everything was great until the day before we checked out.

A day before checkout, I received an email asking if water was turned off since they had a water leak last month and had a $3,000 water bill. I responded promptly to let the owner know that we did not see anything running. I assured her that we would ensure that all faucets were turned as far off as possible. She assured me this was not my problem. I also asked her when checkout was since we had a late flight and had some things that could melt in the car if left in the afternoon sun. She said we could store our luggage there until our flight in the afternoon.

The next morning, about ten minutes into our showers, the hot water was turned off. A text was sent to me as well stating that we had to be out by noon. We had an appointment to go to in 1.5 hours and we had to hurry to finish packing everything and get out by noon, finish showers and leave the apartment in an orderly manner.

The did not do anything out if he ordinary. We washed some clothes daily since we did not being a lot of clothes packed and were visiting for several events.

What b&b shuts off someone's hot water and tells someone they can checkout in the afternoon and renig in less an 1.5 hours for two women to get ready for a meeting, pack and clean up prior to departure? I would not suggest booking this place based on my last 24 hours!!!!

  • My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Atlanta this past weekend including our stay at Debra and Dennis' apartment. The apartment was super cute and we loved the artsy decor. It had everything we needed - we even made and ate meals there and used the kitchen appliances and utensils provided. My husband and I normally sleep on a memory foam king size bed, so we were a little concerned about the queen size bed at the apartment, but it was so comfortable! Although we did not actually get to meet Debra and Dennis, they were extremely gracious in making sure that we were taken care of upon arrival as well as making sure to know that they were approachable if needed for any reason. The best part of the apartment was the quiet neighborhood which was nice to come back to after spending the daytime in the busy city of Atlanta. The backyard is well-kept and very green and it was nice listening to the fountain while eating dinner on the back porch. The TV and Wireless Internet were also a bonus to have. And, both worked great. Compared to what we would have paid to stay in a hotel, this apartment was definitely a great deal! This was our first time using airbnb and we will definitely use it again and even consider this apartment for future trips to Atlanta.

  • Cool place! The apt was in a great location and the hosts made it extremely easy to check in and make myself at home. Lots of privacy and a nice, lush backyard to create the ambience.

  • The Urban Oasis is exactly as advertised, and is even nicer in person -- it was a true getaway in Atlanta and it was a great, relaxing, comfortable, private place to come home to at the end of the day. Debra and Dennis were very gracious hosts! They were wonderful about accommodating my arrival very late at night, they gave me tips on the area, and they even offer up their bicycles for guest use. The Urban Oasis was exactly what I was looking for, and I would definitely stay there again when in Atlanta!

Boomerang furniture and art of Atlanta
Hello! Thanks for considering our space in your travel plans! My wife and I are artists, who own a small furniture store, where we feature hand painted furniture and lovingly restored vintage items. We like to travel, ourselves, and used AirBnB exclusively, on a long trip in Italy last year, and loved it! It's a great way to meet people, and get the skinny on what it's really like to live in a certain place, and find out the inside scoop on where to go, and what to do. We are big walkers, and urban explorers, so glad to help you with suggestions and tips, if you want them. Welcome to Atlanta!
