The space
This stunning English basement apartment offers complete privacy and is situated on one of the best streets in the city! The spacious front area features a cozy living room with a queen-size sofabed, TV, and a charming fireplace—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream, ideal for preparing meals at home or grabbing a quick coffee on the go. The dining room comfortably seats six, making it perfect for family meals or entertaining.

At the rear of the apartment, you'll find an incredibly spacious bedroom with ample closet space, a TV, and a desk area for any work you might need to get done. The spa-like bathroom provides plenty of toiletry storage and also includes the added convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer.

As with most historic Capitol Hill rowhomes, some sound transfer between floors is possible. We live upstairs with our family and make every effort to respect quiet hours. Most guests find the apartment comfortable and peaceful, but travelers seeking complete silence may prefer a detached property.
