Excellent stay, just as shown in pictures. Clean apartment. Great location. Highly recommended.
This very private and comfortable apartment is in an ideal location for access to most of manhattan and Brooklyn. It was immaculately clean and a lot more spacious than I expected-huge bathroom with a big shower, walk-in closet, & sitting area. It has a gorgeous view of the williamsburgh savings bank out the back window. The wifi was blazing fast, the hosts were easy to communicate with via text. Absolutely recommended.
Comfortable and clean room with private bathroom and "kitchen" in hallway. Separate entrance. Excellent location, but better for those using public transportation. Parking is chancy. Many amenities--wi fi, tv, refrigerator. Hosts responded rapidly on Sunday to a minor problem with the shower handle. I highly recommend Deniz on Fulton for affordable and delicious Mediterranean food and Hungry Ghost on Fulton near Hanson for very good coffee. Hosts forgot to mention that in addition to nearest subways, C train is only a couple blocks away. Any of the subways gets you to Manhattan in minutes. But there are also plenty of good restarants, stores and such in Fort Greene itself.
Erika is a very nice person. Unfortunately I did not meet her at the first day- she was away, but send her friend open the door for us. I was bit worried before we arrive. Her apartment is very easy to find. The day when we arrived, her friend was waiting for us in the apartment. The apartment is very warm and clean-normally I am a cold all the time. The location is handy for subway and food. Will visit and again and tell my friend. Thanks for everything.
A roomy apartment, well furnished with a luxurious bed, and impeccably clean. It is within a couple of blocks of many subway lines, 15 minutes to midtown Manhattan. Erika was careful to respond to questions promptly and conscientiously.
My stay at Tanya and Erikas Garden Suite was wonderful. The apartment was clean and comfortable and very convenient to all mass transportation. The apartment is located less than two blocks away from the new Barclays center, and 1 block away from the BAM theater. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to explore New York City.
Tanya and Erica have a fantastic place, in an excellent location, at a great value. The room is very spacious and there is also another small room off of the main room that has a desk and chair if you need/want to work. The back garden has a table and four chairs with a great view of the Williamsburg Savings and Loan building which is a Brooklyn landmark. While they do not have a kitchen, they have a large fridge with a microwave. But there are literally tons of places nearby where you can get good food at all price levels. They also have a small television with cable. I lived in that area of BK for over for years and it has all the best and easiest transportation links to the city, it's two minutes from the Barclays Center and a nice walk to other great parts of BK (such as Park Slope and Cobble Hill ). Even though it is in such a central area, the apartment is very quiet and safe. They couldn't have made my stay easier or more pleasant. I will definitely try to stay there when I next pass through town.
Tanya and Erika's place is filled with ambiance, including the old pine floors in the hallway, the bathroom with subway tiles and a great tiled floor, and the lovely bedroom. It was very clean and very well set up for guests.
If you come in the warm weather, having access to the garden will be fantastic.
I did have an issue with noise overhead during the night as the floors are older and creaky. And there is a subway or train nearby that you can here rumbling along. If you are a deep sleeper, none of that will bother you.
The apartment is conveniently located near the Atlantic stop. It is clean, has a comfortable bed and is always warm during our winter weekend in Brooklyn. Erika is easy to contact and very pleasant. Will stay here again.
Perfect location and a wonderful apartment. My wife and I want to stay here now every time we visit NY. Seriously, you could not ask for a more convenient and fun spot to stay in the Park Slope/Fort Greene area. And to top it all off, Tanya and Erika were super accommodating and easy to coordinate with. I highly recommend them.
