  • Nice apartment in a quiet Venezia courtyard. Caesar was very friendly, gave us a map and told what we had to see. The center is a bit far, if the first time in Venice, you can very easily get lost in the narrow streets.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Caesar's apartment. The neighbourhood is really nice and quiet yet close to all the sights. The Wifi, which we relied on, worked very well. Caesar was a great host. He provided us with lots of information about Venice.

  • We had a great stay in Cesare's apartment. It was comfortable and clean, good bedroom leading onto comfortable sitting room area, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and good bathroom, and the shower was hot and worked fine. Cesare was friendly and hospitable: he showed us round the flat, and there was even coffee for the morning. We arrived late (after 10.30pm) because of the flight time, and we were tired and hungry. Cesare was kind enough to take us to a pizzeria which was still open, although he himself must have been tired! Our return flight was late, and although official check-out is 11am, he let us keep our bags in the flat until mid-afternoon. The location of the flat is beautiful: just near the walls of the Arsenal, extremely quiet, looking onto a quiet courtyard planted with flowers, with a small canal visible just through an archway. We were had easy access to the vaporetto and ten minutes walking distance to central city areas. Cesare showed us where the local restaurants and shops were, as well as where to have excellent coffee. We would love to go back to Cesare's next time we visit Venezia!

  • My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Caesar's place. Caesar was really friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for places to go and restaurants, even some authentic venician recipes to make when we got back. Castello is a lot less touristy than other areas but still really close to everywhere we wanted to go. Had a great time would stay here again.

  • It was really comfortable place, the kitchen area is the best. We cooked and enjoyed. The big bed was nice the sofa-bed a bit poor. The WiFi worked only the first day...it was quite disappointing. The location is nice but not so close to the Biennale as I thought. Cesare was really nice and helpful.

  • It was a pleasure to stay at Cesar's place, as well as communicating with Cesar himself. I stayed there with my mother to visit Venice Biennale and we were both very pleased. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood, Cesar provides his guests with all essential amenities and gladly gave us indications where to find the closest supermarket, where to eat etc. I recommend and would go back the next time.

  • We loved staying at Cesare's place, and found Cesare a great host. He gave us loads of information and helpful tips, and was very responsive when we needed to communicate with him. The appartment was comfortable with all amenities (though wifi was unreliable) and Cesare's artistic flair. The neighbourhood was very quiet, but gave insight into real Venetian life and we really enjoyed around the area and exploring. Inspite of being a little off the beaten track, it was not too far by foot to anywhere we wanted to go.

  • nice and quiet apartment, close to biennale and san marco. Caesar is a pleasant host. He arranged access to his neighbors WIFI since his was temporarily out of order. Good value for money!

  • Caesar, a nice, responsible host for an comfortable, convenient and fully equipped apartment in a very original and interesting part of Venice with a lot more inhabitants than tourists. We enjoyed it very much!

  • An authentic Venetian apartment in a relatively quite part of town, but still very interesting and within easy walk of the main tourist areas. Caesar's directions and communications were first class. When we stayed (October) the heating had not been switched on, and whilst it was not particularly cold during the day, it was very wet (from the sky). Drying clothing in heavy dampness was not easy; the option of heating would definitely have helped. But all other facilities were absolutely fine.
