I booked with Miriam for a coworker who was visiting our office for a few weeks and didn't want to stay in a hotel. I didn't see the place myself, but my coworker enjoyed it. Miriam was very responsive and promptly helped resolve the few problems that came up.
Very good location - 15 minutes walk into the city centre and a walk to Fisherman's Warf etc., Lots of local restaurants and bars to unwind nearby. Miriam is a great host, very professional and the place was clean and tidy. Really quiet place with a nice vibe all round.
If you are looking for this to be the epicentre of the party its probably not for you. Better suited as a great base while working in the city or a couple spending a few days in SF.
Miriam's apartment was delightful; it was very clean and we were able to get in easily after our late arrival. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was spacious. The neighborhood is first-rate and Miriam was very pleasant to deal with. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Miriam!
* very open, organized and thoughtful host; always reacting quickly if questions occur (but there´s nearly no need for questions because all info is send in advance)
* nicely and quitely in the backyard located apt
* cozy and well equipped; everything at hand what you need
* couple of minutes to cable car, bus, cafes and Fisherman´s Wharf
* good basis for biz- and leisure-trips
This was a great place. It's centrally located in a great neighborhood, well-maintained, and comfortable. Miriam also makes it quite easy to get in; my wife and I had no issues. Highly recommended.
What a great visit to San Francisco and it would not have been the same without the private retreat at 1 Tuscany. A perfect spot in North Beach, near everything, and wonderful space to start your day, come back to at night, and even relax on the back porch during the day if you need a break from sightseeing. Miriam was a wonderful host, responsive and thoughtful with everything one would need for a visit.
We really enjoyed our time here! Miriam's house was in a perfect location as was a short walk to fisherman's wharf and very close to public transport. House was really clean and cozy and was a great place to come home to at the end of the day. Miriam was also great with quick response times and made us feel very welcome. Would love to stay here again.
Loved this alley house apartment. Clean, well-equipped, private and quiet. Good location, close to everything on Telegraph Hill and North Beach. Little kitchenette allows you to cook meals at "home" if so desired. I will definitely book again.
What a great place! The location is phenomenal, just a block from buses and cable cars, easy to get to from the airport, great restaurants just blocks away. I was smart enough not to bring a car, as parking is scarce, but that's SF, and you don't need one if you are staying in the city. The house was clean and quiet, easy to come and go from. This was my first experience on this site, and I could not have asked for a better one. If you are looking for a reasonable, great location, apartment, this is it!
The unit was larger than advertising and it a great location. Property of a quiet residential street but just a few blocks from bustling little Italy in one direction and fisherman's wharf in the other. Comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. Bathroom is shower stall only and a bit cozy but everything is good working order. Mariam was very accommodating. I accidentally left behind a changer and she was kind enough to offer mailing it to me. I was still in town so it was not necessary, but thankful for the gesture. Definitely would stay here again.
