  • Tracy is a wonderfully warm and accommodating host. I felt at home the moment we met. My room was very cosy with a lovely snug bed, a TV, Italian mineral water (even some Lindt chocolate in case I needed a hit after the long drive!) the room is so much more roomy than it looks in the photos and has an ensuite with quality products for you to use. The fire had been lit so my entrance to the accommodation was all the more inviting. The photos don't do her place justice! I highly recommend staying with Tracy and her family (they are in a separate house so you have loads of privacy). I was also invited to have a yummy dinner with the family which was terrific as being a Sunday I am not sure there would have been much open. This is a wonderful alternative to staying in a motel ... I shall be back if I am ever up that way again...thanks Tracy and your family... It was a perfect stopover!

  • The hosts, Tracey, Nimrod and family were so welcoming and friendly.
There were lots of little extras which made it so special and inviting.
They happily arranged to pick me up and return me to their local airport into which I had flown into for the overnight stop.
The room was very clean, neat, tastefully decorated and much more roomy than the picture shows.
Thanks so much guys ...." I'll be back"

  • We could write pages about how good our stay was with Tracey and the family but suffice to just say wow! Every thing, from reception to a shared meal and the comfort of the bed and room were perfect. Tracey and Nimrod paid attention to every detail of our stay. Eden cooked beautiful chocolate muffins which topped of a fabulous roast dinner and great company. Neeve entertained us with his stories and jokes. We felt instantly part of the family and very welcomed.

  • Tracey and Nimrod with their 2 lovely children were wonderful hosts. We had a great time. Communication with Tracey was excellent and all questions were answered promptly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Tracey was very kind and went well over and above what we would expect. I would strongly recommend staying there

  • Do not pass up the opportunity to visit Tracey and Nimrod in their lovely, interesting home. Situated beside a lake teeming with birdlife, it is a haven of fascinating conversation, great food and laughter. I stopped off just to break my jouney but wanted to stay longer. The room is delightful - I'm besotted with the ensuite - the bed was comfortable and the extra touches that are supplied really put the icing on the cake. A fabulous experience.

  • It is a pity airbnb wasn't around to act as the intermediary to Tracey and her family when I was driving between Canberra and Brisbane more often than I now do. Welcoming, interesting and genuine people. If you find yourself on the Newell Highway and are thinking of a stop that avoids the average motel, contact Tracey (if it happens to be winter the wood stove guarantees a truly warm experience)

  • What a cute little place - we loved it! Tracey was a great host - calling the day prior to confirm. She was very generous but gave us our privacy. Her husband even lit the fire for us while we were out so that we came home to a warm & cosy room.

The room was very clean, has a great bathroom (awesome shower-head) and the whole place has a lot of character. The bed was super comfy! I would highly recommend a stay here, and would have loved to stay longer.

    Thank you Tracey!
