The Space

I've been opening my home to travelers for years. I love meeting new people & know how to accommodate!

Beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 Story Home in the center of Williamsburg.
The best of Brooklyn 's historic architecture combined with midcentury design nestled in an ideal location, 2 blocks from the Williamsburg Bridge to Manhattan's Lower East Side and a short walk to the Bedford L or JMZ trains. The home was restored & renovated by the same folks who built & designed South Williamsburg's famous Marlow & Sons and Diner restaurants just 3 blocks away. The space features wide plank wood floors, claw foot tub, pedestal sinks, wide open living room & huge full kitchen, exposed brick, classic details, Manhattan views, wifi, working brick fireplace & street parking.

Chris Bouza, long time Williamsburg resident and owner & operator of a nearby restaurant/cocktail bar/and cafe. At my restaurant, my goal is to provide customers with the best in warm hospitality and high quality service. The same extends to my guests at home. This means you can expect the cleanliness & amenities with the warmth and comfort of home. Plus got my finger on the pulse with particular connections in the bar/restaurant/cafe /art/music scene. We'll be able to guide you to the best food, cocktails, espresso, live music (rock, jazz, world, hiphop & more), art galleries, gardens, boutique shopping, farmers & flea markets, thrift store shopping, dancing, DJs, lgbt / gay scene, vegetarian, local graffiti, & special events.

peaceful, spacious & private with a locking door, & quiet with large southfacing windows getting lots of light, a comfortable luxury queen sized bed, full closet to store your belongings, gorgeous exposed brick wall & fire place, wide plank wood floors, brooklyn & NYC books & mags, and Brooklyn artwork. 1 set of Fresh Towels & Linens are included.

Interaction with Guests

I spend much of my time working at my restaurant just a few blocks away so Im almost always near by if needed. Im often available downstairs in the mornings between (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)am if youd like to have coffee together and chat. Some guests like to chat a lot while others prefer more privacy. I am open and respectful to whatever guests feel most comfortable with. I am always a call or text away. Happy to answer any and all questions and provide recommendations.

The Neighborhood

Just a half a block from Bedford Ave, Williamsburg's main street within blocks from some of Bklyn's best restaurants, cocktail bars, & specialty coffee shops including Dumont, Dram, Pie's & Thighs, La Esquina, Blue Bottle, Marlow & Sons, Marlow & Daughters, Diner, Peter Luger, Death by Audio, Glasslands or a short walk to Hotel Delmano, The Wythe Hotel, Radegast Beer Garden, East River Park, McCarren Park, Independent Book stores, Art Galleries & Shopping Boutiques galore, & so much more.
I provide a comprehensive guide of all the best places to go.

Getting Around

L Train @Bedford Ave: 8 minute walk. 1 stop to east village(5mins), 3 stops to Union Square 14th street (8mins) from here you can transfer to many trains.

J,M,Z Trains @Marcy Ave: 7 minute walk. 1 stop to Lower East Side (10mins), 3 stops to China town (15mins)

All that Williamsburg has to offer is within a walking distance. So many excellent bars, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, thrift just a couple blocks away. The Williamsburg bridge is less than a 5 minute walk from the house. You can take a walk across to Manhattan and see the beautiful skyline!

there is a ferry just a 7 minute walk away at South 9th & Kent or North 6th & Kent. Take a ride to "DUMBO" & Brooklyn Bridge Park or Manhattan.

You can pick up a taxi right on the corner or I have an affordable car service I recommend and have been using for 10 years, once you call they're at the door in 5minutes.

Other Things to Note

A great and rare thing about the house is how uniquely quiet it is for nyc. Its a quiet street and the rooms are very well insulated.

I love using airbnb and sharing our home with guests. I love the sense of community it brings. I rent two bedrooms in the house, so if you're staying in one, it is possible that there will be a guest in the other. I take the utmost care in screening all potential guests so that they have reviews, completed profiles, and multiple secure verifications. So you can feel safe and comfortable and so can I. Ive have had over 100 different folks stay with us and all have been cool, delightful people from all over the world!

House Rules
Check-in is after 3PM

There are two full bathrooms for all to share, a big living room, and big open kitchen. I love when guests make themselves at home and make use of the common spaces, but also ask they they be considerate of them as well and conscious of anyone else in the house.

I am not a fan of having lots of specific "rules" other than we ask guests to remember this is our home and be considerate & respectful of the space & use common sense. Just a couple things: please avoid eating in the bedroom and please dry yourself off in the tub before stepping out to avoid getting water on the floor.

From midnight to 8am, I am mutually respectful of anyone getting their rest after an exhausting work day or exploring NYC. But you're welcome to do your thing and come and go as you please at any hour.

That's about it. We look forward to meeting you!

I'm 31 years old, a long-time resident of Williamsburg Brooklyn as well as a local restaurant/cafe/bar owner. I'm heavily involved in the community here, opening my restaurant and home to building and fostering art, music, culture, lgbt, & healthly sustainable local food. If you stay in my home, I'll be happy to show you around and with my finger on the pulse, connect you with all the best places for food, cocktails, events, parties, music, and more. Guaranteed to provide the Bklyn experience.

I've opened up my home for years to travelers, friends and strangers. As a restaurant owner, my mission is providing the best possible hospitality and service, to my guests at home the same applies.
