The Space

We've been opening our home to travelers for years. We love meeting new people & we know how to accomodate!

Beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 Story Home in the center of Williamsburg.
The best of Brooklyn 's historic architecture combined with midcentury design nestled in an ideal location, 2 blocks from the Williamsburg Bridge to Manhattan's Lower East Side and a short walk to the Bedford L or JMZ trains. The home was restored & renovated by the same folks who built & designed South Williamsburg's famous Marlow & Sons and Diner restaurants just 3 blocks away. The space features wide plank wood floors, claw foot tub, pedestal sinks, wide open living room & huge full kitchen, exposed brick, classic details, Manhattan views, wifi, working brick fireplace & street parking.

Chris Bouza, long time Williamsburg resident and owner & operator of a nearby restaurant/cocktail bar/and cafe. At my restaurant, my goal is to provide customers with the best in warm hospitality and high quality service. The same extends to my guests at home. This means you can expect the cleanliness & amenities of a star hotel with the warmth and comfort of home. Plus we've got our finger on the pulse with particular connections in the bar/restaurant/cafe /art/music scene. We'll be able to guide you to the best food, cocktails, espresso, live music (rock, jazz, world, hiphop & more), art galleries, gardens, boutique shopping, farmers & flea markets, thrift store shopping, dancing, DJs, lgbt / gay scene, vegetarian, local graffiti, & special events.

peaceful, spacious & private with a locking door, & quiet with large southfacing windows getting lots of light, a comfortable queen sized bed, full closet to store your belongings, gorgeous exposed brick wall & fire place, wide plank wood floors, brooklyn & NYC books & mags, and Brooklyn artwork. Fresh Towels & Linens are included.

We are half a block from Bedford Ave, Williamsburg's main street. We're within blocks from some of Bklyn's best restaurants, cocktail bars, & specialty coffee shops including Dumont, Dram, Pie's & Thighs, La Esquina, Blue Bottle, Marlow & Sons, Marlow & Daughters, Diner, Peter Luger, Death by Audio, Glasslands or a short walk to Hotel Delmano, The Wythe Hotel, Radegast Beer Garden, East River Park, McCarren Park, Independent Book stores, Art Galleries & Shopping Boutiques galore, & so much more.

  • Enjoyed staying at Chris's place in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) NYC. After staying in Manhattan W'Burg is a nice change and Chris made us feel relaxed and at home in a friendly, comfy place. Great kitchen too :)

The location is great between two subway lines and also near the ferry which plies the channel to Mid-Town or near the Financial district and elsewhere (e.g. Dumbo). Plenty of interesting walking around. Bon voyages !

  • We had a great time in Chris's Williamsburg house. It is well located for the Williamsburg, Greenpoint area. Many nearby restaurants and pretty easy access to the subway, about a 10 minute level walk. Chris is friendly, available for info., and provides good coffee, tea, fruit & granola for breakfast. The room was comfy, it had a/c for warm summer days & a good bed. The house is very nicely furnished with indeed, historic and stylish touches. She also runs a good Cuban restaurant nearby.

  • A fantastic stay! The house was great. It was big for NYC and the room was super comfortable. Chris was such a wonderful host! She truly wants you to have a great stay and will go out of her way to make sure that happens. I appreciated the organic food and coffee offered, and was also delighted that the best bagel shop just down the street. The location is fantastic with tons of interesting coffee shops. Many artists live in this area and you can feel that vibe. I went to Chris' restaurant and it offered amazing food. Chris' commitment to community is found in this airbandb and I would not hesitate to book it. I'll be back!

  • chris' place was terrific -- we stayed for 10 nights and practically had the place to ourselves the whole time. although we barely saw chris, she was very friendly and accomodating when we did! when we did have to get in touch, she was very prompt in responding via text. the house is super-charming and we had everything we needed. and the neighbourhood couldn't have been better! would stay again in a heartbeat.

    Response from Chris:

Hey Claire, thanks so much! It was so nice having you both. Thank you for all the kind words!! It was a crazy work week for me! Thus you had the house totally to yourselves as I was workin 12 hours per day 7 days per week! i must have forgot to bring the toilet paper upstairs! the landlord just recently had been messing with the hot water heater as he is doing some work on the basement. back to normal now!
