We love using airbnb and sharing our home with guests. We love the sense of community it brings. We rent two bedrooms in the house, so if you're staying in one, it is possible that there will be a guest in the other. We take the utmost care in screening all potential guests so that they have reviews, completed profiles, and multiple secure verifications. So you can feel safe and comfortable and so can we. We have had over 100 different folks stay with us and all have been cool, delightful people from all over the world!
We have two full bathrooms for all to share, a big living room, and big open kitchen. We love when guests make themselves at home and make use of the common spaces, but also ask they they be considerate of them as well and conscious of anyone else in the house.
I am not a fan of having lots of specific "rules" other than we ask guests to remember this is our home and be considerate & respectful of the space & use common sense. Just a couple things: please avoid eating in the bedroom and please dry yourself off in the tub before stepping out to avoid getting water on the floor.
From midnight to 8am, we're mutually respectful of anyone getting their rest after an exhausting work day or exploring NYC. But you're welcome to do your thing and come and go as you please at any hour.
That's about it. We look forward to meeting you!
Nice location close to the subway and La Esquina which is the best Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn.
If you like Brooklyn, you would love to stay in this apartment. Many nice places and shops just around the corner. Close to the Williamsbridge, so you will always find your way back home. And your host is very relaxed.
Loved the room, felt like home in these cold days. Chris was very nice and helpful.
Chris is very lovely and so is the house. The location is great, not even 5 minutes walk to Williamsburg bridge and the area has loads of amazing coffee places, restaurants and shops. The house has 2 bathrooms and a big open kitchen which is also great for breakfast before heading into the city. The room was very nice and Chris really knows how to decorate. All in all a great place to stay if you do not want to stay in Manhattan and explore Williamsburg!
charming home as described. location is great. room was comfortable. sadly didn't meet my host: she was unexpectedly called away. didn't meet other house guests. all were quiet. Key pick up at the host's restaurant is 10 blocks from the house; cabs were easily flagged from the restaurant to the house. If you are looking for a low keyed, alturna, friendly vibe stay in Williamsburg, Chris' home is lovely.
The place: The location is perfect to explore Williamsburg. Everything is at walking distance. The street is quiet and beautiful. The house is better than the photos. You want to stay at the house instead of going out :-)
The host: Chris is a quiet, kind and loving host. She creates an atmosphere of awareness and joy. Thanks Chris.
Great experience, such a charming place.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Brooklyn, Williamsburg is the perfect neighbourhood, and Chris' place is the perfect house for it.
We didn't meet Chris during or stay, but contacting her was simple and she was responsive. We did meet her friend Chayda when we checked in, she was very sweet.
