Great place to stay! David is a fantastic host and a very nice person. Breakfast was perfect with self baked bread and everything one could wish. Hope to get a chance to stay at his place again soon. Thanks David, it's been a pleasure.
David is a sixth generation Californian who's Great, Great Grandfather settled Marysville California. In the early 1800 David's Great Grandfather is thought to be the first person to grow grapes and citrus in California as per his lectures and papers which are part of the research station he founded that later became The University of California Riverside. David's Great Grandmother is a Lucas for which Lucas Valley (where this fabulous Eichler house is located) was named. David's Great Grandparents, John and Fanny Mills, ran a ranch and school in Marysville California that is believed to be the ranch and school where the Joad family finds refuge at the end of John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath.
David himself is a distinguished software engineer who loves to cook and believes in hospitality and human rights for all. He is a single father with two beautiful daughters.
