Home from home in the heart of London
A generous one bedroom top floor flat in an attractive Victorian building near Belsize Village, Belsize Park
The flat is on the top floor of a five storey walk up. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom ( with bath), large bedroom ( with king sized bed), and living and dining areas leading to a roof terrace and private access to the roof with views to the south over London.
Belsize Park is a beautiful part of London and highly sought after. It's nestled between two large parks, Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill which both provide wonderful opportunities to lull away the evening sun. Brimming with numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs there's no end to local amenities. It is also in zone two meaning you're only ever 20 mins away from the likes of Bond Street or Kings Cross.
Surrounding areas to explore include Camden Market, Primrose Hill, Regents Park, London Zoo, the canal & Hampstead.
It's a short walk to several tube and overground stations, Belsize Park (Northern Line), Swiss Cottage (Jubillee) and Finchley Road (Metropolitan and Jubillee). It is also a ten min walk to the coach drop off at Finchley road which connects directly to Luton and Stanstead Airports. London Overground at Hampstead Heath is also a convenient link to explore East London and is just a ten min walk away.
It being a flat within a shared building I must ask guests to respect the neighbours below by not making noise past 1030.
This is a gem of a flat: cosy, clean with wonderful views overlooking London. Sarah the perfect host. All in all a great stay, thank you!
Even though I was born and raised in London the itinerary Sarah had prepared for me was amazing and surprisingly helpful. I have absolutely no complaints and had a great stay. Wish I could have spent more time in the apartment. Thanks Sarah
Sarah's place was perfect. Felt like staying in a very lovely friends home. Will definitely return. It was clean, tidy, the kitchen had everything you need and the balcony was brilliant for a sunny day. Beautiful part of London that feels very safe. And Sarah answers all questions swiftly and kindly. Great place.
The apartment is beautifully light and airy and comfortably furnished. It is at the top of a very narrow and winding staircase - something that could be a problem if, like me, you tend to get dizzy looking down. But Sarah kindly helped me with my suitcase. Sarah was a helpful host and overall the visit was enjoyable. One thing to be aware of is that it can be quite a lonely walk to the tube station through Belsize Park if you're on your own late in the evening. It looks like a very safe and quiet neighbourhood though, and would be just right for people wanting a haven not too far from the hustle of Central London.
Beautiful apartment which was more than we expected!!!!
Flat was so clean and equipped with everything, and special part was the rooftop which you able to access to the balcony and the rooftop with a wonderful view. The flat is located in a safe and quite residential area "very class"
Also Sarah was a very kind and so helpful from the beginning and really i was so executed to meet her.
It was a memorable and unforgettable experience, and I will definitely go back there again!
More than we expected! The flat was very clean and tidy with amazing views of the city. Although we only saw Sarah the once on arrival we felt if there was a problem she would be easy to contact as lived in the same building. The area itself is probably the best we have stayed in in London and would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in Sarah's flat. It looks exactly like the pictures shown on the website - clean, warm and cosy. What we liked most about her flat was the location of the flat (very calm but also a lot of very nice restaurants in walking distance). Stunning view. We met Sarah only once at the end of our stay. During the hole stay she was very helpful with everything and answered all our questions and needs very fast. Best place to stay in London!
I'm from London and love the bustle of the big cities, most especially being in a place with such a vibrant arts scene and an ever changing landscape.
I also enjoy being outdoors and finding time to relax which is why Belsize Park is so great. Between two parks, three if you count Regents park it's a beautiful part of the world whilst still being in the thick of it.
My style as a host is to provide you with everything you will need to have a happy time in London and to help you if you need any advice.
You're only every 30 seconds away from a restaurant, bar or coffee shop and even if you don't see the tourist sites, you'll get a great taste for London life just staying on my road.
