Listed on the National Historic Registry, our beautiful fully restored 1840 farm house and 110 ft post and beam barn is located on 16 acres in downtown Patten Maine. We are minutes to Baxter State Park Northern Entrance and the newly designated Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. We have access to Snowmobile and ATV trails on our property. Enjoy our beautiful scenery that is made for photographers and simple enjoy. It is like stepping back in time to a kinder, gentler time.

The space
The fully restored cottage offers a king-size bed in the loft, bunk beds in the first floor bedroom and a private full bathroom. A partial kitchen that has small refrigerator, hot plate, toaster, electric griddle, dishes, pots, pans, etc. Enjoy the evening with a fire in the fire-pit and a beautiful view of the sun setting behind Mount Katahdin.

Breakfast for cottage guests is not included in the price but can be purchased separately at a per-guest price of $10 for adults and $7 for children.

Guest access
Our guests can access the front porch, the dining room, and the parlor for wireless service. There is cable TV in the parlor.

Other things to note
We are within minutes of breathtaking waterfalls, lakes, ponds and mountains. There is no shortage of activities such as fly fishing, hiking(Baxter State Park is home to the end of the Appalachian Trail), 4 wheeling, snowmobile trails (ITS81 is located in our back yard), canoeing, kayaking, boating and sightseeing where you can discover our diverse wild life. Our area is home to wild animals such as moose, white tailed deer, fox, beaver, black bear, bobcats, coyotes, and more. We welcome you to experience our serene life style. Don’t forget our growing Amish communities around Patten as well. You will feel like you have stepped back in time.
