Well stocked kitchen, charmingly decorated bathroom, living and entertaining area, well stocked library, gas BBQ. Child friendly apartment with child "gear" available upon request. Close proximity to the East River Ferry with access to DUMBO and lower and midtown Manhattan in minutes. Walking distance to excellent restaurants, cafes, and shops. Near subway lines L, G, JMZ. Guests are welcome to use anything in the pantry and any additional linens. Nespresso machine and capsules for your use. There is also a working Victrola with plenty of records! We like to leave a little treat like locally made chocolate or wine. There are umbrellas to borrow and NYC/Brooklyn/NY State guide books to use.
We are nearly always available and don't mind being contacted for help of suggestions while we are away. We also have the friendliest neighbors in Brooklyn who are more than willing to help.
South Williamsburg has been home to Basquiat and Bill Murray (on our floor!) among others. Because it isn't on the main drag in central Williamsburg, there is still plenty of color and character. The building is a neighborhood unto itself, filled to the brim with artists and creative types, an amazing community roof where BBQ's and gatherings are held as soon as it's warm enough!
East River Ferry is one block away and will take you to Manhattan in minutes or in Brooklyn from DUMBO to Long Island City Queens, stopping in N Willamsburg and Greenpoint along the way. JMZ train is a short 10 minutes walk away through a safe neighborhood and the L is 15 minutes through the center of Williamsburg. There is a Citibike station just outside the door and many bike paths.

We spent 5 nights around New Years at David's place and we fell in love with the apartment immidetiately! The apartment was small but at the same time practical and perfect for three people. The view from the terrace was beautiful, not to mention the one from the rooftop. Locationwise it was good; it was close to the bars and secondhand stores in Williamsburg and the subway to Manhattan was closeby. David was very helpful and he gave us good tips what to do in the neighborhood. We warmly recommend the apartment!
Hosts were very accommodating and friendly check in process was a breeze, Melyssa was more than helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do. The apartment/loft has a very eclectic and authentic New York feel about it. Fully equipped kitchen and the deck and rooftop offers one of the best views of NYC, and the convenience of the ferry being only 2 minute walk away offers quick access to either midtown, north williamsburg or DUMBO. We loved our time there and especially our visits from Gus!
The neighborhood is quiet and really close to the animated Williamsburg. The apartment is a 2mn walk to the ferry stop (you can get to lower Manhattan or Midtown quickly) and has a wonderful view on Midtown from the deck. David was very welcoming and indicated some really fine restaurants in the area. Highly recommended !
I have spend a really great time in David's apartment! He was make a really nice welcoming and give us a lot of suggestion about activities and restaurant! David's house its like a museum, very artistic and funky! Sure you gone loves to be there!
