  • I stayed with Anita and Justin (his son) for one week. They are very nice and accommodating hosts. I felt at home right away. The house is in a great location close to the top of the Bernal Heights hill. It is a healthy walk going up and a nice stroll going down with amazing views of the city. I certainly recommend the place and its hosts to anyone, my experience was really good.

  • Awesome host and awesome house! Great location (as long as you don't mind a little hike up the hill) right off the Mission District. Anita was really nice and I really enjoyed my stay (although brief) at their lovely hill top home!

  • We stayed 8 nights at Anita's place before finding our own place for our year in San Francisco and it was the perfect place. It is very well located in San Francisco halfway between Bernal Heights Park and Mission Street with a beautiful view on all the city. Anita is such a great host and her house is so nice. She became our neighbor and our first american friend and we will see her again.

La habitación posee todas las comodidades necesarias, posee un closet muy amplio y muebles para guardar la ropa; el baño es muy limpio y ordenado, detalle que agradezco mucho !!

  • Anita's home is a true retreat: perched on a hilltop with expansive city views and a peaceful garden. I slept well in the queen-sized bed with a heavenly down comforter, and the room was equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The location is perfect: the immediate neighborhood is quiet and residential, yet great restaurants, cafes and shops are within easy walking distance, as well as the Mission district and mass transit. Anita is a wonderful host, as is her sweet pup, Hurshey! I would definitely stay here again.

  • So my wife and I recently got married and decided to take our honeymoon trip to San Francisco,we had never been and it seemed like a great place to spend a vacation, we were told to check out air bnb to find a room to stay in since all the hotels were between 200 to 800 dollars a nite. So I checked it out about 5 hours before we left for the airport and Anita instantly responded to my message, which was a relief. We got to the house in the afternoon and was greeted by her son Justin and dog Hershey,"which by the way the nicest most adorable dog we've ever met!" We told Justin we wanted to see some sites and do a few cliche' tourist things while we were in town, and he instantly invited us to a BBQ right next to the Golden gate bridge where we met about 10-15 of the towns best bartenders, chefs,And DJ's from all over the city. Everybody was extremely welcoming and made the first day better than we ever could have planned it.
The next few days we felt like we were at home, waking up and having coffee in the backyard was so peaceful, and right behind the back yard you can take a five minute walk to the top of the hill and see all of San Fran! We felt like we were staying at a resort the whole time, and Anita was just the best at making us feel like we were at home, which by the way we will always keep in touch with them after this and visit back to stay.We not only felt like we totally lucked out on a place to stay for out honeymoon, but I feel like we made 2really good friends out of the deal,3 if you count Hershey!
I could talk all day about the place we stayed, but you should definitely check it out for yourself if you ever need a place to stay in San Francisco! About a 10 minute drive to downtown, the local food spots and places to get a cocktail are amazing, and the neighborhood is soooo scenic! Thanks again for the experience!

  • I stayed at Anita's place only for 4 days, but the whole stay was so nice and comfortable that I wish I had stayed there for a longer time! Anita was like a mom to my friend and I, picked us up from the airport, helping plan our day and even cooking for us! The apartment is very nice and the room just like on the picture, with a very comfortable bed. She will provide you with necessities like towels, shower gel, an iron and great coffee in the morning.
Her dog Hershey is a very sweet and calm dog!
In general I had a great stay and would only recommend to stay at Anita's house!
