Perfect for families or two couples looking for a local experience. This comfortable flat is located in a quiet, typical Andalusian patio. However, go straight out the door and you are in for a treat. Seville's oldest market is only a few steps from our apartment, a large outdoor square with tapas bars is a block away and the Cathedral is a leisurely 20-minute walk. The 2BR apartment has an equipped kitchen & baby accessories. Enjoy a private terrace with views of the nearby 13th century church.

The space
Our two-floor apartment is in a small renovated Andalusian patio so it has the tranquility of an interior patio but the conveniences of a new building (air conditioning, heating, elevator, etc). There are two bedrooms situated on separate floors. The bed on the first floor is a full bed (135cm) and the one on the second floor is a queen sized bed (150cm). The second bedroom has an open concept that looks out to an ample terrace space that can seat 4 to 6 people comfortably. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable salon with leather sofa. Hopefully you will be out seeing the sights and dining, however, we do have a digital TV that has English options for those who are tired of battling with the native language. We are also equipped with fiber optic wifi.

OPTION OF COMPACT GARAGE (Please let us know prior to arrival)

Guest access
The entire apartment is accessible to guests. There is a private terrace that only our guests have access to. The terrace is located in the interior patio however, has a nice view of the near by market and old church tower.

Other things to note
It is vibrant and lively outside the door but the apartment building is quiet. We have a beautiful fountain in the middle of our building that can be heard except for siesta and sleeping hours. Our neighbors are wonderful and have become a big support in our project.

Where you’ll be

Seville, Andalusia, Spain

Our apartment is quiet but the neighborhood is lively. It can make a 90 year old feel like a 20 year old. We are in the old town or “Casco Antiguo” of Sevilla, making it easy to walk to all of the major sights of Seville. Straight out the door you will find the vibrant Feria Food Market, the Mudejar Museum and a great little bakery. Just a few more steps will take you to the famous Macarena Church or the fun Plaza of the Alameda de Hercules. The neighborhood, known as the Alameda area, has a true small town feel that allows you to see everyday Sevilla life. The Alameda is where Sevilla (young, old, hippy, conservative, gypsy and foreign) comes together. Its lively plaza as well as its surroundings has many different restaurants, making it a perfect place to "tapear".

My work: Expert Olive Oil Taster and Photographer
Speaks English and Spanish
Pepe and I are a creative couple who met in Spain through our common interest in art. I am originally from New Jersey, exit 4 for those who need to know. I landed in Seville over 22 years ago and decided to stay mostly for the cheap wine and great fish. Pepe is from Seville but he will tell you his mother is from Huelva, making him half "choquero" (the term used for people from coastal Huelva). His passions are photography, nature and salty air. Some of his photos decorate our home as do a few of my collages. I worked 12 years for the Andalusian government in environmental projects but after falling in love with olive oil, left my job and became an expert olive oil taster. In our free time we enjoy trying to figure out how to restore our 45 year old sailboat, hiking and taking long motor bike rides through Spain. We fall under the category of live to eat and not eat to live and like to try the newest tapas bars in Seville. We will be more than happy to share our foodie-findings as well as interesting places in Andalusia that we have enjoyed exploring by foot, by boat, by motor and by accident.
