About this listing
Adorable garden suite in heritage home in central Vancouver. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped with a cute kitchen/eating area, electric fireplace and separate bedroom. There's a private garden with a fire pit, lounge chairs and an al fresco eating area to enjoy during your stay. Please note the ceiling height is low (just over 6') so not ideal for basketball stars. Wifi, big screen and Netflix all available during your stay, as well as bikes to explore the city.
The Olympic village skytrain station is only three blocks from the house.
We had a wonderful stay at Carol and Greg's. They were flexible with check in times and had some great recommendations for local places to eat. Really good location, short walk to Sky train or Seawall walk to Granville Island. Place had everything we needed.
Carol and Greg were great hosts. We felt very welcome and comfortable in their place and were given a whole bunch of recommendations for the local area which were excellent. Carol was available to help us out whilst we stayed with them and was very responsive. The accommodation was perfect for us - close to the city, the train station and a supermarket. The bikes were an awesome bonus and a great way to see Vancouver. We would definitely stay with them again. Thank you Carol and Greg!
It was a really good place to stay very nearby the city centre. We could use their bikes what is very usefull for a bikefriendly city like Vancouver! It had everything we needed and even more :-)! I would recommend this stay to all of my friends!
Carol and Greg were great. They were there when I arrived to let me in and the place was exactly as advertised - clean, quiet, and comfortable. They had recommendations about where to go to eat/drink and they were very friendly without being intrusive. This is a great location and I had a lovely visit.
We had a great stay at Carol and Greg's place. It is a well equipped apartment at the ground floor of the house, Carol and Greg are extremely nice and welcoming people. We enjoyed very much visiting the city thanks to the bikes they are proposing for guests, we couldn't have done so much sightseeing without it! The place is very well located, close from downtown and in an artistic area (lots of vintage clothes shops, trendy bars and restaurants, some galleries). We went to some of the places recommended by Carol for breakfast and even dinner in the area, and we really enjoyed it too. Thank you and we definitely recommend it!
Staying at Carol's Airbnb was a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I traveled to Vancouver in July for the Women's World Cup. Carol was easy to communicate with leading up to and during our stay, flexible with our arrival schedule, and a great resource for fun things to do in Vancouver. The space was clean and well organized with a private entrance, and we were able to borrow bicycles for the weekend to explore the city. The low ceilings actually made the space feel very cozy, and it stayed quite cool during the hot days of our visit. It was great to know that Carol or her husband were available by phone or a knock on the front door if we needed anything. The neighborhood has great coffee shops and restaurants, many of which boast fantastic views of the city. Thank you for a lovely experience in Vancouver!
The Heritage Home Garden Suite was perfect for our quick trip up to Vancouver for a Dragon Boat race I was participating in. The suite was clean, the bed was comfy and we were within walking distance to local markets, shopping and the rail system.
My husband and I will be more than happy to stay here for my race next year!
