Interaction with Guests

I usually meet the guests myself and welcome them with tea and biscuits on arrival. I like to recommend places to visit, nice walks and the places for the best food and music. I serve and cook breakfast myself so I meet all my guests in the morning and if I have time I join them for a coffee and chat.

  • Dear Community Members,

I had an amazing time in the very nice B&B in Doolin. The contact with Teresa was how I have expected from an organized Host. From the room window, you have the amazing view on the Atlantic sea. This is just such an amazing view, including the trail which guides you to the Cliffs of Moher.

I can highly recommend Teresa and her B&B!

  • Staying with Teresa in Doolin was one of the highlights of our trip - the location is incredible, right near the ferry to get to Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. Her B&B is cozy and she makes you feel right at home. Spending time with her and the other guests felt like being with family! The room was clean and comfortable and had an incredible view. I can't forget to mention her amazing cooking skills, she even gave (email hidden) lesson :) Next time I'm in Ireland, I'm definitely coming back to Doolin.

  • My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days at Teresa's b&b in Doolin, Ireland at the beginning of June. I can't think of a more perfect introduction to Irish culture and hospitality. It was like walking into my sister's kitchen and being invited directly into the hilarious conversation taking place, as if we had known her all our lives. The location is perfect... Emerald green pastures, grazing cattle and a view of the ocean and Maher Cliffs all from our bedroom window. The house is cozy and lovely and a hop, skip and jump from pubs and shops as well as easy walking distance to the Cliffs Walk, boats to Aran Island and the Burren. Teresa set out on a lovely breakfast of our choice each morning, including a full Irish breakfast with blood pudding the first day. If we get back to Ireland, Teresa's will definitely be first on our list of to-dos. Highly recommend a staying there, particularly if, like us, you chosen not to drive. As you can see tons using her place as home base. Bus stop is right down the street and Teresa kindly dropped us off. Thanks Teresa!!

  • Our stay with Teresa was excellent! My girlfriend and I stayed with Teresa one night while we explored the Cliffs of Moher, which was the highlight of our trip to Ireland! I highly recommend staying somewhere in Doolin and hiking the Burren Way to the cliffs. Teresa's B&B is perfect, the rooms are clean and comfortable and she made us an excellent breakfast. Teresa also let us leave our car in her parking lot after we checked out so we could hike, though there is ample parking in Doolin.

  • I had a lovely time in Doolin and Teresa's central location was a big part of it. Her home is a minute away from Gus O'Connors Pub and also within minutes of a fantastic trail that takes you to and from the Cliffs of Moher. Although I'm not much of a breakfast person, her menu was fantastic and the other guests plates looked amazing.

Teresa was an awesome host and provided excellent information on the area and was very helpful in getting me where ever I needed to go!

I was born and reared in Doolin and have lived there all my life. I am mother to 2 teenage boys, Barry and Joey and together we have 2 Shih-Tzu's Rocco and Nicky. I own and run Lanelodge Bed and Breakfast and as a local I can suggest and advise on trips and things to do in the area. I am friendly.easygoing and love to help guest plan their day and recommend activities, walks, restaurants and the best traditional Irish Pubs for music and atmosphere..
