Interaction with Guests
I usually meet the guests myself and welcome them with tea and biscuits on arrival. I like to recommend places to visit, nice walks and the places for the best food and music. I serve and cook breakfast myself so I meet all my guests in the morning and if I have time I join them for a coffee and chat.
Quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Everyone knows everyone.
The Bus stop is the last stop on your journey and is 5mins walk from my home,. If you have large heavy bays you can arrange with me to pick you up.
Other Things to Note
I am just 10mins walk to the Harbour where you get Ferries to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of moher. The Coastal cliff walk to the Cliffs of Moher starts in Doolin and the Burren area of limestone rock is 10minutes away
Teresa's house is in the perfect place in Doolin, a short walk to the bars/restaurants. The house is lovely, and you can hear the sea at night time which is perfect. We were welcomed warmly and Teresa was fantastic at giving us suggestions and recommendations for our onward journey. The brekkie was delicious. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. It's in the perfect spot to visit the cliffs of Moher too.
Teresa's home was wonderful as was she. She goes above and beyond for breakfast, we felt spoiled. Great location for the Cliffs, and the town of Doolin. Highly recommend!
Theresa is a very nice and warm person. She was very helpful with information about the region a gave us a lot of material. our room had sea side view and was very tidy and cozy. The breakfast in the morning was gorgeous and lasted the whole day. Thank you!
The neighborhood and home were typical for the surrounding fishing village, very close to the Cliffs of Moher (a 15 minute drive approx). Teresa was a warm hostess with great suggestions for the surrounding areas, maps etc available, and advice for dining and music (Doolin is known for music). She had a nice breakfast for us, very clean accommodations, and was friendly. We slept like rocks and awoke to a nice breakfast and views of the village and distant sea and cliffs. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank-you Teresa.
I would absolutely recommend Teresa's B&B as a splendid place to stay in Doolin. Before arrival, Teresa's communications were prompt, clear, and friendly. The B&B was exactly as described and so accommodating to travelers, with plenty of maps and flyers to make your stay more productive and enjoyable. The room and bathroom were very clean with all the amenities you could need. The dining room is very neat. We had a delicious hot breakfast and our host helped us with our itinerary for the day. Location-wise, Teresa's place is very central and close to the famous Doolin cliff walk.
The Lane Lodge B&B was fantastic. The rooms were wonderful, warm, and clean. Teresa was a wonderful host (and makes incredible breakfast). My friends and I had a great stay. Teresa knew exactly what to see, where to go, how to get there, and all the little tricks to know in between. Her place was well stocked with useful brochures and maps. The B&B itself couldn't be better situated. It's less than a five minute walk to O'Connor's Pub, which has great food and amazing local music. The Cliffs of Moher were about 10 minutes by car, and the pier to the Aran Islands ferries was a short walk down the road. Other sites in The Burren are within a half hour drive or so. The B&B has wonderful views of the Atlantic. We'll be recommending Lane Lodge to anyone we know going through Doolin!
Teresa was an excellent hostess and we really enjoyed staying in her home. She was very welcoming and made good suggestions for what to do around Doolin. Her house was well decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. Her home-made breakfast was delicious, and the O'Connor's pub down the street was great as well! It was truly a fabulous experience. We will stay here again when visiting Doolin.
