Your host Ian Stewart is passionate about the many great assets Tasmania has to offer. After travelling to many places around the world I discovered this unique and beautiful location which offers so much. I would love to share this little piece of paradise with you and introduce you to our two cats - Buddha and Andi. It would be my pleasure to show you the many features and attractions of the wonderful Tamar Valley - there is so much to see and do. Visit one of many local country townships, Boutique Wineries, Fine Arts and Crafts, Restaurants, Strawberry Farm, Seahorse World, Platypus House, Cheese Farm, Lavender House Perfumery, Gold Mine, Salmon Farm, River Cruise or take a drive through the wonderful local countryside and explore the Tamar Valley and surrounds to discover the many hidden gems this magical island State has to offer. A warm welcome and a memorable stay awaits you at Tamar River retreat. I love meeting people, making new friends and travelling the world - especially cruise ships. When I travel I generally stay ay B&B's because they are always homely, clean and good value for money and they are often just that little bit special and intimate - they are also invariably run by friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming people - just like us! We hope to hear from you soon.
