A lovely comfortable spacious 2BR home in a quiet neighborhood. Artistic and pretty, this home has classic detailing, good natural light, a fireplace and a back yard with grass and flowers. It is close to BART and Muni, freeways, and has a driveway.

The space

This is a charming bohemian artsy home with lots of nice touches. There is a queen bed in one bedroom, and a double bed in the second, comfortably sleeping 4. There are hardwood parquet floors, arched ceilings with crown moldings, french doors, original tile in the working fireplace, and a brightly colored bathroom. The outdoor garden is an oasis with grass and flowering trees, hummingbirds, bluejays, and a firepit for those foggy San Francisco nights. There is a weber gas grill and an outdoor seating area for bbqs and al fresco meals.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the whole house to themselves. You must enter through side door to get to the outside space. No garage access.

Interaction with guests

I am available to meet with you and give you the keys and any tips you may need about San Francisco, but then prefer to have you enjoy the space and the city on your own. I am usually a 15 minute car ride away, and reachable by phone for any guest needs or problems.

Other things to note

There are two adorable, mellow love cats that live here ( downstairs in their own space, when guests are there) so must be a pet lover and non-allerigic :-) I care for them by the separate side entrance, so will not disturb the guests. This house is from the 1920's...and is more on the funky, charming side than the sleek modern totally updated kind of place. This home gets tons of natural light during the day, so it's well lit naturally. But, I don't rely on bright overhead lighting, and have mostly lamps and mood lighting in my home for nighttime. So, if you require a very bright well-lit atmosphere...this might not work for you. Sorry, I can no longer allow dogs.

Christine's place is very comfortable, spacious and with lots of personality. Our favorite part was meeting the cutest roommates: Sister and Mister. Will come stay again if visiting SF next time!

Christine’s place is spacious and very comfortable. The apartment has everything you need and is a short walk to BART. The neighborhood is quiet and is close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. Overall a great place!

The House was as described, great location to get around the Bay Area. Having a driveway for our rental car helped a lot, had no idea San Francisco parking was so terrible. We were part of history this weekend with the hottest day ever recorded in San Francisco. P.S. the cats were super friendly.

Great little house with wonderful outdoor space. Christine's place is beautifully decorated and taken care of. There were various informational brochures about San Francisco with ideas of things to do and maps in the house. And, the on-site parking was perfect for our rental car.

Christine's house is a super-comfortable, typical San Francisco row-house located in Mission Terrace with nearby access to anything and everything. It has all the great little architectural details like coved ceilings, parquet floors and thick-glassed French doors that are characteristic of those great houses from the 20's. It's full of windows and a skylight which means it gets beautiful natural light all day long (a must for me)! She has a nice mix of furniture and art with a fun French and Mexican vibe. The house is close to the Muni J line and BART, but also has the not-so-typical and greatly appreciated advantage of a driveway for parking, which was essential for me as I had to make multiple trips to Marin County. It is on a a quiet and completely residential street, but is within walking distance of markets, pharmacy, and dozens of restaurants. She has two very well-behaved and friendly cats; they were nice to have around as I had a five week stay and missed my dog, but if you're not a pet-person they are happy to spend their time between the downstairs and the backyard (which is a very private and comfortable place to read and have morning coffee). Christine is very responsive and friendly and was quick to reply to the few emailed questions I had. I have to travel to San Francisco occasionally and I do hope her place is available for my next trip!

My family of 4 had a lovely stay in SF at Christine's home. The location was great for us, very close to a beautiful park and playground. Our family was very comfortable. There was room for us to have a few friends over to hang out, which was a big plus. The kitties weren't feeling brave enough to visit with us, which is understandable with 2 young kids in the house. Christine was a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We had a great time and would stay again!

My friend and I came to San Fran for Pride Weekend, and Christine's was an absolute dream. The house was comfortable and adorable! Walking distance from the Glen Park Bart station, Christine's was the best of both worlds-secluded enough so we had some space away from the celebration, but the city was super accessible! Christine was the kindest, warmest host. We had a wonderful stay! (also-the cats are the cutest!!!)
