Interaction with Guests
Minimal interaction with hosts.
No smoking or drugs. We go to bed early, so quiet is appreciated after 9pm.
Great little room with an excellent bathroom. Very clean and lots of local info provided. We would certainly stay with Judith again.
This was a first experience of BnB so we did not know what to expect. Our host gave us clear directions, met us on arrival and showed us our room and facilities. Our room was exactly as shown, compact but with our own bathroom and enough room to prepare and eat snacks or microwave meals. We were also able to use the garden and there was plenty of room for us to store our luggage.
We had our own entrance and enjoyed the privacy but with the knowledge that assistance was always available. We felt very much at home and our host was helpful and willing to chat about topics that interest us and and not necessarily tourist information.
We really enjoyed the area it was close to transport, colourful and interesting and we will certainly be happy to use BnB in the future
I had three days in San Francisco and was after a local experience, and staying in The Hideout in Mission turned out to be one of the many highlights of my visit! Judith was quick to respond, the directions were great, and the room and backyard were adorable! The room was clean and had everything one could need, and the coffee machine was a definite bonus. :) Mission was such a charming neighbourhood with good food, very friendly people and I felt safe at all times. I would love to stay in The Hideout again!
My stay at the Hideout was wonderful. I arrived while Judith was out, but she provided me with directions on how to get in and accessing the room was really easy. Judith welcomed me warmly when she returned and we had a nice conversation. She also provided me with a great restaurant recommendation for dinner the evening I arrived. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was a great place to unwind after my long days at work. I also really appreciated the thought put into providing small comforts like a bowl of snacks, nice fluffy towels, many reading options, great art on the walls, and an information packet on the room and the neighborhood. The location was perfect for my visit, it was a very short walk to great restaurants and transportation to my work site. I hope to have the pleasure of staying at the Hideout again :)
Thanks Judith! :-)
The Mission Hideout is amazingly comfortable. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in San Francisco.
Judith is so helpful and provides great information on where to go, eat and transport.
It's very clear she has a love for the city.
The room it's self is very clean and comfortable and comes with a coffee machine! Judith provides everything you could possibly need.
How can we start... Thank You Judith!!! We had an amazing stay at the Mission Hideout & could not have asked for a better first Airbnb experience.
Judith was a wonderful hostess, we were given really good directions before arriving in San Fran & great tips once we did arrive. Judith was so helpful & welcoming. Our room was perfect & had everything we needed, and we were very suprised & grateful for the beer, water, tea, coffee & snacks that were provided to us when we arrived, along with local maps & information. The location of the Hideout is in a friendly & vibrant area, a few short steps away from many bars restaurants & general stores, with easy transport to all parts of the city, we were amazed with how accessible the trains and busses were. We absolutely LOVED Judith & staying at the Hideout, we would most definitely stay again when in San Francisco.
About the Host, Judith
I spent 22 years living in England before I moved to San Francisco. I am an artist and have an artist studio in our Mission house....My daughter Jess works from home as a medical researcher and we live with her 8 year old son, Romy. We adore San Francisco and always feel that we are so lucky to live in this gorgeous place with the perfect climate and extraordinary lively and positive energy.
