Danu lodge is a retreat centre, away from busy life. No detail is overlooked at this charming and upscale place to stay. It is in an area of natural beauty nestled between three mountains with forest walks close by. Views of the valley with Scot’s pines, oaks and silver birch trees. Close to beaches of County Wexford and inland forests. One hour south of Dublin and one hour north of Wexford town. Closest small shop for supplies is 5 kms. We are 13 km from Gorey Aughrim, Tinahealy, Arklow

The space
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with incredible views of mountains trees and valleys. Close to forest and mountain walks and the beautiful beaches of Co Wexford. The property is so close to nature and peaceful serenity. There is excellent WiFi. You can walk out of the property and find yourself in woods or hillwalking up Annagh or Croghan mountains close by. We are one hour from Dublin Kilkenny Wexford towns. 13 Km from Gorey Arklow and Aughrim and a coast line of beautiful beaches.
We have two twin rooms available,

You are invited to treat the house as home from home during your stay.
You have shared access to the garden and field next door. There are 2 donkeys on the property and my elderly black cat Duke. Also three dogs.
We ask that you treat them

I am available at all times either in person or by phone.
We have cats and dogs on premises.
We do not cater therefore for visiting dogs.

I provide breakfast supplies which are all in a visitors fridge.
It is a ‘help yourself system.’
There are eggs, bread, butters, milks, fruit.
Teas and coffees. The drinking water is a well.
There is a choice of bedrooms. Both harbour two single beds. Bathroom en-suite. Beautiful views of the valley and nature.
One room gets the evening sun, and the other, the morning sun!

Hello! I am dedicated to helping you find peace and calmness in your life! I offer space to just be. I also run Danu Lodge as a space for retreats, offering private healing sessions. I have a background in acupuncture and herbal medicine. I grow vegetables and have hens who offer their eggs to guests! There are two Donkeys in my field. Also Duke to black cat! There are two dogs on the property kept with the family.
