The Space

Dear guests,

I let a modern room in my apartment close to the vibrant city centre of Amsterdam !

Amsterdam has a rich history. Beautiful canals and houses from the 17th century (have a boattrip!), many nice restaurants and cafes, musea (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, Hermitage, The Rembrandt house), the Anne Frank House, great shopping area's (9 Streets, Kalverstraat, PC Hooftstraat), nice area's (Jordaan, Pijp) and a good night life.

All the main sites in Amsterdam can be easily reached by public transport. There are two tram- and two buslines right in front of my apartment that take you to the city centre in about 10- 15 minutes. Opposite of the apartment you can rent a BIKE for 10 euro.

My apartment is only a 11 minutes ride by train from Schiphol airport and then only 1 stop with the bus that stops right in front of my building.

At Q-PARK Bos & Lommer across the street you can park your car for €1 euro per 24 hours with Park & Ride (you must arrive after 10 AM or in the weekend and you have to purchase 1 or more tram/bustickets to go into the citycenter). It is really cheap !

- The room is 13 m2
- Comfortable double box spring bed (1.80 * 2 m).
- Lits Jumeaux covers (XXL) or two seperate covers
- Flatscreen TV
- Big closet with hangers for your clothes
- Fridge, Nespresso machine and watercooker available!
- Table with chair
- Fresh towels and sheets

Smoking is not allowed in the room or the rest of the (website hidden). If you come with 3 people I have an extra pull out bed available that we can set up in the room.

The bathroom is modern and has a rain/steamshower (with music and
lights in it) and a nice bubblebath ! So after a long day of walking in Amsterdam you can relax in the jacuzzi. There is a separate toilet.

Bathroom and toilet are shared with me and possible other guests.

I don’t provide breakfast, but there are several nice places to have breakfast nearby (for example Bagels & Beans or b\Buon Giorno).

Coffee and tea facilities are available in the room.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor (elevator available) of a new apartment building in the Bos en Lommer Area.

Bos en Lommer is situated just west of Amsterdam's city centre and is a hip and upcoming neighbourhood with cultural diversity, good price/quality ratio and large variety of restaurants. Two large parks are nearby for walking, cycling and jogging. There is a gym at 3
minutes walking distance from the apartment that costs 10 euro per time.

Within a range of 150 meters there 3 supermarkets (Albert Heijn open until 22.00 o clock), a daily outside market (from Tuesday - Saturday) and
several nice and cheap places to eat. Try the Turkish pizza at restaurant Bir Tat for only 2 euro! Furthermore there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken, Snackbar and a Japanese restaurant across the street. At 5-7 minutes walking there are some other Turkish restaurants, a Thai, Italian (Michelangelo and Domino's pizza) and International
restaurant. I can give you tips for nice bars and restaurants in the Center.

Across the street there is a square with several shops (clothes, shoes etc) and there are 3 banks nearby.

14.00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
17.30 all the other days (and sometimes a friend of mine can open the door between(phone number hidden) on these days if he has time). But always check with me, sometimes i am more flexible. :)

is 12.00 o' clock.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • The bathroom is nice and Daniela even changed their working hours to wait for me, it usually is not available all day to check-in.
I did not find much about her personally, but she left me messages on (website hidden) answering my questions.

  • Spacious, clean and tidy room with double bed. Ideally located closed to a tram junction so getting around was really easy. I'm a frequent traveler and Daniella's bathroom is one of the cleanest I've seen. Deniella is also a very welcoming and friendly host. I've always enjoyed staying at her accommodation and it's the 1st place I check for availability whenever I'm travelling to Amsterdam.

  • From Daniela spent unforgettable days, comfort and kindness to the highest levels.
Beautiful room, bathroom with hydro massage and sauna to fear, everything clean and in a very central point.
In the city center in just 15 minutes.
The house is very modern, the coffee maker in the room is very nice.
I think better than a 5 star hotel.
    Amsterdam = forever recommended Daniella

  • Daniella's apartment was top notch and I would recommend it highly to anyone that wants to live like a local but also visit the touristy spots around town! This was the best of both of those worlds! The room was as nice, if not nicer, than the pictures and was certainly quite spacious for 1 person. Very clean! The bed was super comfortable, and the mini fridge was very helpful! As mentioned before by others, it was very easy to get anywhere in town quickly with no more than a 3 minute walk out the door. She was very helpful as well. This was my first AirBNB experience, and after this one, it will definitely not be my last!

  • Room was as described. Bus to the center on your door. Everything good!

    March 2014
  • We recently stayed at Daniella's flat. She was very welcoming and the property was clean and in an accessible location. We would definitely recommend this property for those wishing for a short break in Amsterdam. It was extremely easy to get to her flat from the airport and the bus stops directly outside her place. The steam shower was a major plus! Thanks again Daniella for the excellent experience!

  • We stayed one night at Daniella’s appartment and this was a very nice experience. Daniella was very friendly and most helpful. She accompanied us to the P + R to help us figure everything out, helped us finding the right tram/bus and provided all sorts of maps and information. The room was neat and nicely decorated, quite like the pictures. For one night it was ok to stay here with 3 friends. If you stay more than 2 nights, it might be a bit tight. With only 2 persons, it’s large enough. Bathroom is really nice (good shower and jaccouzi) and large.
The location is great, you can park really cheap at the P+R and it’s so easy to get to the citycenter by public transport.
When we come back to Amsterdam, we will probably choose this room again!

  • I had a nice experience living in this room.

Great location, clean and well-decorated room, and comfortable bed + a nice bathroom.

    Highly recommended !

  • The room was great, big, well equipped, and just how it's represented in the photos. The shower is so powerful, it's amazing. It was really nice to come back to after a long day out sightseeing. The location is great too. One of my days I only needed one tram line which went to all the sights I was visiting that day and the stops are right outside the flat :)

It was really easy to find as well. Thanks Daniella

  • Thank you daniella for that nice stay at your home
