Wonder our gardens, star gaze, or simply be in nature all within the comforts of this unique & tranquil space. The cabin has a king bed, pull out couch, wood burning stove, private outdoor sink & hot waterfall shower, outhouse & covered patio. Attached Bunkie (single + bunk bed) available when booking 4+ guests. Full access to the shared/communal Coffee & Book Barn (full kitchen) w/ free coffee, pavilion, fire pit, trails, & U-pick garden. Lake is 5 min drive & Beach 15 min drive.

The space
We are a small hobby & you-pick farm with chickens, peacocks, bunnies & honey bees. We also have a friendly dog who likes to greet guests ( if fearful of dogs just let us know and we can keep him on leash and away from you)

If you have never been camping or glamping Rooted Acres is the place to start!

Glamping stands for “glamorous camping” which is what this is. You get a little of both worlds. Expect to fall asleep in the comfort of a king sized bed after a wonderful hot shower but you won’t soon forget the forest that surrounds you as this stay was designed to be one with nature. There will be bugs and may be deer, fox, or other woodland critters dropping by for a visit. That’s what makes it a glamping experience after all.

Best part? We are located on the edge of thousands of acres of forest, close to a number of beaches, and have gardens you can enjoy and explore steps away from your camp.

Guest access
Each rental has its own private “yard” and we ask all guests to be respectful and not go into these areas unless invited.

Otherwise, all guests are welcome to explore all of our 5.5 acres including our field, trails, organic non-gmo garden area, communal fire pit, hammock & slack line area. We also have a communal Coffee & Book Barn that has a full kitchen plus self serve coffee/tea, games, and books. We are in the process of building a meditation path, pond, cold plunge tanks, and multiple pens for livestock/horses. If you want to explore more, you can exit the back gate to the trails of Belleplain State Forest.
