Colleen has been a very accommodating and welcoming host; I've received plenty of useful information regarding the city, felt welcomed and invited the entire stay. 10 out of 10!

Colleen is the most amazing host. Not only is the space clean, cheerily decorated, and well located, but she is knowledgeable, kind, worldly, and lovely to have a conversation with. Having bread for toast (along with Nutella and good butter) and fresh fruit provided in the morning made all the difference, and I enjoyed our talks and laughs over some late night bubbly. I was only here three nights, and it was already like home. If you're considering staying, do it!

Colleen's house is a visual feast and an excellent retreat in a beautiful part of Sydney. Her place is located in a neighborhood full of shops, restaurants, a grocery, and a train station is close-by. Colleen is so helpful orienting you to Sydney and helping you decide what activities are a priority. She was sensitive to my comfort; e.g., I came to Sydney unprepared for the cold weather and she went out of her way to retrieve a heater out of storage for my room, which I really appreciated. She's got a great sense of humor and is willing to engage when you are; she makes you feel quite at home. Note that she requires a key deposit of $150 so be sure to bring the extra cash with you. All in all a great place to stay in Sydney!

Glad you enjoyed your Sydney stay. Information on the (refundable) security deposit for the keys is listed in the short information blurb on my listing and most visitors arrive prepared.

Great stay. Colleen was very flexible when my arrival time kept changing. The house is perfectly located in Potts Point just a 10 minute walk from the Kings Cross training stop. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was good for one person with a comfort foam mattress. Quiet garden in back was nice.

Colleen was organized and welcomed me with maps and tourist ideas. A smooth experience. My one word of caution for future guests: there is no Internet available. While this is not promised in the description, it does seem standard for Air BnB, so be ready to purchase data for your phone if you need to look anything up during your stay! Otherwise a good spot.

Recently retired, I've lived & worked on 4 continents & over the years have travelled thru about 50 countries. I live in inner-Sydney within walking distance of most places (except the beaches, which are approx. 30 minutes. away on public transport). Interests are travelling, wildlife, reading, snorkelling, theatre, ballet & interesting food.
