General- Nice bedroom in the most trendy and convenient neighborhood in Soho. I'm listing a clean big bedroom in a 4 bedroom complex in the heart of Nolita. Cafes and restaurants within a minute walking distance all around. 2 blocks from the high traffic shopping area in soho yet situated on a very quiet tree lined street filled with boutiques.
Bedroom- Very minimal, spacious, and clean. Has a full sized extra firm bed with hotel collection sheets and comforter. A work desk to hook up a laptop to. A huge 6 ft standing mirror. Shared closet space with me because I still live here :)
Kitchen- Full kitchen with a dishwasher/refrigerator/stove/oven.
Living Room/Dining Area- Beautiful living space with an atrium nook that lets in a ton of light during the daytime. Very relaxing spot to work and or hang out in during the day.
Bathroom 1: Downstairs full bathroom with brand new renovations entirely gutted with new vanity/toilet/tub.
Bathroom 2: Clean half bathroom upstairs.
Neighborhood- Condo complex on Elizabeth St between Prince St and Houston St. WholeFoods supermarket is just a block away. On the same block are nice boutiques- Rag and Bone, Aesop, Steven Alan, Tory Burch, and many others. Amazing artisan taco spot, Tacombi is just a few steps away. Cafe Habana is down the block. Many restaurant choices such as Pulinos, Peasant, Public, Bread, La Esquina, and many more are within a blocks walking distance.
Transportation- All trains and major NYC transit lines are within 2 blocks. There are plenty of cabs at every hour day/night. This area is so cool you don't need to go anywhere else!
This area is where most New Yorkers wish to live in!
Roommates- This is a residential place so there are 2 permanent roommates in this 4 bedroom apt.
Mike- Early 30's male has his own company that sells advertisement technology through mobile devices. Very friendly and easy going.
Robert- Early 20's male works as a consultant. He is very clean and has many talents and skills. He plays the guitar and practices martial arts.
Every airbnb guest that came through here we have became good friends with. We even go out together and show them cool spots in the neighborhood.
Since there are shared common areas with roommates please clean up after yourselves. All dishes and utensils are open to everyone so please place all used items in the dishwasher. The refrigerator and all utilities are available for use by airbnb guests at anytime. All we ask is that you keep it neat and tidy after usage. Please no overnight guests as the apt is shared with other roommates.
My very first Airbnb experience, and what a start. Cosy apartment and large room. Kenneth made himself available to questions and was flexible to my schedule.
The neighborhood is eclectic with a lot of cool bars and places to eat.
I couldn't have asked for more.
It's located 5 mins from Broadway-Lafayette Station - Lines B,D,F - the lines which gets you to everywhere in Manhattan !
I stayed at Ken's place for a week and it is simply fantastic. The apartment is very well located and the neighborhood itself is lovely with lots of boutique shops and great restaurants. The room is spacious, clean and quiet; it has everything you need for your stay. Ken as a host is very helpful too. He sent me very detailed check-in instructions to make sure that everything goes smoothly when I arrive. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place!
I spent 17 days at Kenneth's and loved it. The room is big, clean and very quiet, as the informations said. There are metro lines to everywhere in NY near to the apartment. Lots of good places to eat and the whole food market a block away. The house is clean as quiet as well. I had a perfect time in NY at Kenneth's. He answered my questions very fast and was very welcome.
For sure I recommend.
I enjoyed staying at the room in Kenneth's apartment. For the price, it is good value. I would repeat the experience.
A great place to stay. Kenneth made everything very easy which just added to really good time in NYC. Highly recommended.
I spent 10 days here and it was awesome. I was actually quite sad having to leave. The room is clean and spacious. The apartment can get a little hot, but the aircon works a treat. Wifi is great too. I didn't see much of Ken or Robert, but when I did they were both very friendly. Ken is a pro with airbnb, aka he's really reliable and proactive with giving info. The location is the best part about this place - Nolita is gorgeous. Great shops, cafés and has easy access to all parts of the city. I genuinely think that it is the best place to stay in NYC. Highly recommend!!
Perfect for me. Experience was nice and easy. No problems at all. We were in contact by email which was best for us both - contact was fast. I asked for some local info on coffee shops, laundry etc, and he came back with a few that were great. Wi-fi is good.
Location was real sweeeet for me. You've got the B,D,F,M from Broadway Lafayette, N,R from Prince, and the 6 from Bleecker all a very short walk away and lots happening around
Bed was comfortable.
Area felt safe.
Good size lift/elevator to the apartment which is great. Bedroom is on the second floor of the apartment with access via a narrow staircase, which is not the easiest thing to get up with luggage - but that is the only thing. The place was perfect for me - I'd go back for sure!
