Typically I'll only be communicating with you from a distance and sometimes I'll stay in the suite below (separate entrance).
Metres from recreational facilities (ball diamonds, sports fields, track, outdoor pool, etc), farmers' market, daycare, parks, shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes, groceries, medical clinic, and high school. A short bicycle or drive for fresh farmside food, fishing and boating on the Fraser River, golfing, and hiking in the forests.
Many don't know, but Agassiz is home to a lot of extreme and luxury sporting activities - glacier skiing, paragliding and hang-gliding, sport fishing, hunting excursion guides, outdoor shooting range, rock climbing, dirt biking, moto cross track, car race track, and is a great place to host tournaments in the sporting fields and pool.
Ten minutes north of here is Harrison Hot Springs, a beautiful beach resort between towering mountains on a glacial-fed lake with a warm lagoon. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes among tourist activities including boat rentals, waterpark, kayaking, parasailing, aboriginal history guided tours, and sasquatch history. Ten minutes south is Bridal Falls Provincial Park with a children's dinosaur theme park, the waterslides, and the gorgeous Minter Gardens (closing this September). Also nearby is Sasquatch Provincial Park, Harrison Mills and Kilby Provincial Park, Hemlock Valley Resort & ski hill, and much more. A weekend here is outstanding, but a week is not long enough!
Public transit stop nearby for Agassiz, Harrison, Popkum, and Chilliwack. By car it's 20mins to Luckakuck Way in Chilliwack for all your big box needs.
Parking available on the driveway for up to two cars, more on the street (free).
A taxi from Chilliwack airport is about $55.

We had a wonderful time, the area is quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery. Philip was amazingly helpful with ideas and things to do locally, and great with communication. The house itself is gorgeous, and everything we needed for a weekend away. it was perfect!
Loved the balcony and the mountain view, and the light that came through the turret :) the town itself is very small, but Harrison is only a short drive away. The house is an easy walk to the local supermarket, coffee shop (that does a great breakfast!) and a cute little thrift store.
Clean, modern, quiet, everything was great :)
We had a great time visiting the Turret at Farmside. Phillip was a very helpful and accommodating host. He assisted us in finding adventures in the nearby valley. The town of Harrision Hot Springs (just north of Agassiz) is quaint and fun, and the lake is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend grabbing some kayaks and hitting the water, then returning to the shore for some sun and bbq. The only inconvenience was lack on wi-fi (as we were traveling from the US), but a local coffee shop provided help in a bind. All in all, happy.
Thanks again Philip!
