Very Convenient Location - Steps from Metro Stop (Oakland City Marta Station), located near downtown(3 stops south of five points station), super easy commute to Airport(4 stops north of airport). Capitol View is a residential neighborhood, with a bohemian mixed with inner city vibe. Transitional neighborhood with lots of urban pioneering going on.

Easy going host that is helpful and wants guests to feel like they are staying with family or friends. Guests are usually very considerate and interesting to chat with.
2 very sweet and loving dogs(Mayfield and Veruca) who co-host.
Social atmosphere, but also peaceful, calm and tranquil.

Very fresh and clean. Quality cotton linens and bedding.
This is one of 3 properties in the same neighborhood that I host guests in, with similar decor and amenities. When booking a Private Room, you will be staying in one of them. I will give you the exact address as your reservation dates approach. I very much look forward to hosting you, and I want to make your stay here in Atlanta the best it can be! Tracy
I have stayed with Tracy and her hostel for three days. It has been generally a very pleasant stay. Most of the descriptions and suggestions listed in previous comments are useful and truthful.
Tracy was wonderful including her precious pup Pita. I loved that the house is walking distance to Perkerson Park, home to a championship style disc golf course.
I would definitely stay at her home again if the occasion should arise.
Extremely convenient location for both the airport and downtown. House etc - just as described and Tracy was very helpful - including practical information and kind deeds ( she both picked me up and dropped me off at the Marta station). It is indeed very close to Oakland City station. I walked back alone after 11 pm and all was calm and peaceful. There are nearby parks and also a trail which made for a very pleasant 5km circuit from the house. There is a good mix of sun and shade in the garden. I would be delighted to stay again and would recommend it to anyone going to Atlanta for work or for vacation. My room had a table I could work at with a desk light. The kitchen is well equipped. Thank you Tracy.
March 6th--Tracy was an awesome host! Thank you for giving us such a great experience, this being our first time as airbnb guests. The room was not the same as the photo, but as clean and comfortable as depicted. It put our mind at ease knowing Tracy has hosted over thousands of guests. Loved her favorite stories she shared with us. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at her place!
This is a beautifully renovated house! I was very comfortable for my 4 day stay. Decor is in great taste. Vintage mixed with modern. Super clean and organized. Nice doggies. Very cute and loving. As someone mentioned the neighborhood is in transition. True. Some houses are boarded up and it is not an area with Starbucks or Whole Foods. But I never felt uneasy. There is the Marta train nearby. It is fine to walk to but as a woman it is better if you drive or get a ride at night. This is common sense. The house and the host are stellar. The neighborhood is no problem. Quiet and peaceful. If you go to Atlanta I highly recommend staying here. The best Airbnb so far. And I have liked most of them. The price is super reasonable. And it really feels luxurious.
I love this home, clean, great place and I always feel safe and taken care of!
Thanks, Tracy, for a clean comfortable room and bathroom, your friendly welcome, your lovely dogs, wonderful kitchen, and clarity of your listing. I had a great stay.

Easy going, creative types. We like cooking, entertaining, local, organic food, yoga, good wine, lots of good music, art, film, animals, nature, sailing, the ocean, traveling, calm and tranquil spaces, and try to find beauty in all things. We love to have fun and not take life too seriously. We enjoy hosting and meeting new friends from all cultures and backgrounds and don't really follow the mainstream of American culture much at all. We love to buy houses and fix them up. We have quite a few places where we host guests and try to be as accommodating as possible. When staying in a private room, you will be in a room in one of our houses, most likely, there will be a couple of dogs in the house as well, so animal lovers usually love staying with us. Our properties are in lower income neighborhoods where real, local ATLiens live. You won't see many tourists around, mostly, just typical working class folks who love to sit on the front porch and unwind as part of Southern culture. We always say hello to each other in passing, so please be friendly and observe our friendly custom when encountering locals, they will appreciate the gesture. Because we are in a lower income neighborhood, we can offer more upscale accommodations to travelers on a budget. Also, for travelers relying on public transportation, we are on the Marta line conveniently situated halfway between the Airport and downtown. Our rates are very reasonable and not subject to negotiation. Rates, terms, and policies are fixed and applied equally to all guests. We look forward to hosting you one day soon.
