Cute and cozy, this real life dollhouse sized home is located in the most architecturally charming and walkable section of center city. This historic brick home is completely updated and has all the amenities one would need.
This is a 3 story (plus basement) historical home that has been completely renovated. The perfect pied-à-terre, just bring your personal belongings, everything else is provided. There is a queen bed with a regular mattress and box spring in the bedroom and full length mirror. Fresh towels and linens are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi throughout and cable TV in the living room.
You will have the entire house to yourself to relax and make yourself at home living like a local among the surrounding 18th century brick homes and cobblestone streets.
Interaction with Guests
This is not our main residence and unfortunately we will not be able to meet you. There will be a lock box with code for your key access. I am very flexible on arrival/departure times just let me know what your plans are and we will accommodate you.
Just a few blocks from the Liberty Bell and all of Philadelphia's popular sites, the home is located on a quiet alleyway with no thru traffic. This location is ideal for visiting the city as there are dozens of popular restaurants and shops within walking distance in this beautiful and safe neighborhood. There are daily lots within blocks though if you need to park, street parking is limited but available as well.
Right in center city you can access all public transit as well as walk to many lovely restaurants and shops.
Other Things to Note
Society Hill is a charming historic neighborhood and is a beautiful and safe place to walk around while visiting Philadelphia.
No smoking in or around the house, other than that just make yourself at home!
Super cozy and cute little place in the middle of Philly. Alexandra has nicely furnished and decorated the place with all amenities so we feel at home. Total privacy guaranteed. Definitely much better than staying at a hotel.
For out of towners who wish to experience Philadelphia the way folks may have lived in the late 1700s, a trinity is the perfect example. There are several variations, but this quaint little spot is perfect, on the smaller size. For a Washington Square location, it is prime to the eclectic stores and local eats of South Street, three supermarkets within minutes walking, the architectural sights of Society Hill's cobblestone streets and brick homes, to Washington Square and Independence Park. There are stairs, to be expected, but it is cozy, and has everything you may need including W/D and if staying for a considerable length or due to poor weather (I stayed long term), very decent cable (something many AirBnBs state but is worth less than basic). Plus the bedroom has a view, rare, and you can see the tops of some of the higher buildings of Philadelphia all lit up at night and trees nearby :-) Any questions, just ask Alexandra, helpful! I'd stay here again.
We really like our visit of philadelphia, the house was perfect, well located, nice and clean. instruction sheet was helping us particlarly with internet connection
Exactly as described. It was "dollhouse-sized" as described, but very clean and comfortable. The AC was very important as it was very hot both days.
Alex was very nice and accommodating. Thanks again.
Alex's place was great! she was very responsive and was able accommodate changes in our check in time. The place was very charming and nicely decorated. The location was absolutely perfect! Only a few blocks away from a really great part of Philly, awesome restaurants and places to walk around.
I stayed for a full two weeks in Alexandra's charming and immaculate home in Philadelphia. She had thought of everything, and I felt immediately comfortable. I had all the privacy that I needed (I had the whole home to myself and was completely independent in my comings and goings), and yet, if there was ever a moment when I needed communication with Alex, her responses were helpful, friendly, and very prompt. Also, she was incredibly flexible regarding my arrival and departure -- basically, the timing was completely up to me. This was so comforting and made life very easy! In addition to the great space itself, the location of Alex's home is perfect. I could walk to the Whole Foods in minutes, not to speak of countless restaurants, cafes, and shops. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to ask Alex for another stay, upon my next visit to wonderful Philadelphia. Simply excellent everything!
I highly recommend Alex and her adorable little Philly trinity!
Alex was exceedingly accommodating to the last minute nature of my trip, very prompt, clear and kind in responding, and even went to the trouble of getting an iron and ironing board for me (that I very much needed) beforehand so that it was ready upon arrival.
About the Space:
This is a very unique layout in a very cute area. It's incredibly small but it's not uncomfortable by any means. You're walking distance to the Liberty Bell, shopping, good restaurants and bars and much more. Easy to find taxis or get Uber. Can strike out in almost any direction and find something cool.
This is a well-decorated but no frills unit:
1st Floor - Living room with one small, comfy couch (Wifi but no TV). From here you can access the basement where there's a washer and dryer.
Separated by very narrow and steep stairs - a bit of a workout!
2nd Floor - Kitchen with all the fixins (plates, silverware, microwave, full-sized fridge with freezer, etc.) and the bathroom, which boasts one extremely small shower.
3rd Floor - Bedroom with one amazingly comfortable bed, an A/C unit, windows for natural light, a nightstand a closet with mirrored doors.
I was very happy with my stay in every way and thank Alex very much!

Hi! I have lived all over the US and am currently spending most of my time traveling for work.
I have a penchant for the idea of minimalist living and love my little clutter free homes.
