This apartment is perfectly located in Palermo neighborhood. Very safe and nice to walk around, full of cool cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Very bright 550 ft2 studio. Perfectly located, near pubs, restaurants and shops, and at walking distance from parks, zoo and botanical gardens.

The apartment has a modern style decoration. Its living room has a balcony over the front street, with outdoor chairs and small table, perfect to enjoy breakfast or cofee, while the bed area, phisically separated from the rest of the apartmet, has a big window facing a nice interior open space.

The bedroom area has a queen size bed 1,60m wide, and in the living room, there´s a sofa bed, 1,30m wide, prepared to receive 2 more people.

The neighborhood is very safe, a very important item in such a big city as BA. People relaxing in cafes and enjoying outdoor meals is what you will usually see during day and night.

If your stay is planned to be more than a week, maid service is provided.

Note: Please make sure your arrival time is after 2 PM and by 8 PM. It´s very difficult for me to make late check ins!!! Thanks!

Enjoy Buenos Aires!

Guest Access

There´s a laundry at the first floor of the building which helps long term stays.

Interaction with Guests

If there´s anything you need, please don´t hesitate in writing or calling me. I´m here to help.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is one of the best places to stay at BA. It´s safe and nice, trees in front of the building and you can walk the streets any time, that you´ll always find people around. At the same time, it´s not noisy at all. Cafés and restaurants all within walking distance.

Getting around

The best way to get from the airport to the apartment is to take a taxi. There are shuttles also but leave you at Puerto Madero, and then, you have to take a taxi. If you´re arriving late at night, I can send you a taxi that waits for you at the airport, with the apartment keys. I always work with the same agency, and never had a problem!

  • Fabulous apartment, great location, wonderful host. The neighborhood was safe, everything was within walking distance, the apartment was clean and spacious. Emilce was easy to communicate with and quick with her response to any questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again. Thank you Emilce!

  • Absolutely perfect! The location was great - walking distance to many of the museums, Recoleta Cemetary, Plaza Italia, the subway. Emilce (and her family who met me within 5 minutes of my arrival) were wonderful. I consider I have new friends in Argentina. Apartment was as described; quiet, cool (in the middle of a heat wave) and clean. Neighborhood is safe; there is a small market with delicious fresh produce next door and small cafes and good restaurants within walking distance. I have already recommended Air bnb and especially this apartment to friends. Emilce even offered to help me with getting a taxi to the airport on my last day if I couldn't communicate with the recommended (by her) remise company. But that was perfect as well. She left a list of nearby restaurants and she was right. Definitely five stars!

  • Emilce's apartment lived up to all the positive reviews that previous guest have left. The building is nice and very well located. It is situated in Palermo, which is a very nice area for walking around and exploring. There is a very nice restaurant with a sidewalk cafe two doors down, and another restaurant right across the street from the first. There is also a little market right across the street, which makes for extremely convenient shopping runs and there is even a butcher shop 3 or 4 doors down.

The apartment itself was much larger and comfortable than what I had expected. My wife and her mother slept on the queen sized bed, and I slept on the queen sized sofa bed. The sofa bed was actually very comfortable (wood slats under the mattress). Emilce provided enough pillows, sheets and towels for everyone. We found the apartment to be very clean. The apartment has a nice balcony facing the street with the restaurants and other apartment buildings. I found the view to be nice. Perfect for sipping on some malbec.

There's even a laundry room on the first floor, which we had the chance to use. The washer and dryer are large capacity and work very well, but be forewarned that the machines take about 6 or 7 "peso" coins each. Those coins are not easy to obtain, even from banks! Also, there is a doorman (David). He's very nice too. As for communication, Emilce responds to messages quickly. I never met her in person, but the communication was so good, that meeting wasn't necessary.

The only issue we had with the apartment was that one of the AC units was not working well, so the apartment was a bit warm. A repair team came to correct the issue during our third night, so the rest of our stay was flawless. Despite the issue, everything else was so perfect, that we were able to overlook the snafu. I suspect that future guests won't have a problem since it has been corrected. Wifi and cable worked well and the apartment has a landline, which came in handy to arrange a car back to the airport and to make an appointment for my wife to have her hair done.

Emilce arranged for a car to come pick us up at the airport for a very moderate price that we paid directly to the car company. We paid USD $28 to $45 (depends on which of the 2 exchange rates you use). The price is excellent, considering there were three of us with a lot of luggage and the airport was 50 minutes from Palermo.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time in Buenos Aires, and in Emilce's apartment. We hope to visit again, and when we do, we'll certainly seek out her apartment again.

    Thanks Emilce!

  • Emilce was a huge help and gave us some tips (including traveling to Colonia by ferry to enjoy the beach)! The apartment was in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops around (and some delicious heladerias!)

  • We had a wonderful time in the apartment. It was exactly like in the pictures. Very nice neighbourhood. Apartment was clean. When our two year old was very tired we even cooked once.
Emilce was easy to talk to. Check in and check out were easy. She even arranged a spare key for us when we locked ourselves out. Great service!

  • Our family had a very enjoyable and comfortable 8 night stay at the apartment. It was a shame that we did not get to meet Emilce however she was always quick to response to our emails and was very helpful. The apartment and location is excellent, close to cafes/restaurants, supermarkets, parks, shops and public transport. It also felt very peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend this apartment!!

  • Emilce's apartment was fantastic! It was the perfect spot to spend a few days in BA and such a wonderful alternative to a hotel. We felt at home and loved having a kitchen and balcony to have breakfast on each morning. Great neighborhood as well - minutes walking to the Palermo park, Japanese Gardens, Evita Museum and not far from Recoleta and subways to everywhere. Loved it! Thanks Emilce!
