The Green Horizons self-contained studio apartment is bright and spacious, with its own private terrace and barbecue overlooking the garden and pool. It is part of a unique property set in six acres of beautiful park and woodland a few minutes’ walk from Puivert village, Cathar castle and lake.
An ideal place for couples wanting a romantic break, or a family with a young child, the studio has a well-equipped kitchen area, double bed, cosy sofa corner, and table and chairs, as well as ample storage space. The bathroom has a rainforest shower, and is equipped with hairdryer, towels and toiletries. We can provide you with a travel cot and baby bath, or a futon for an older child. The apartment has a range of DVDs and English television, books, board games and a stereo/CD player. Free wifi is available. Puivert village, 5 minutes' walk away, has a baker's shop, post office, and small general store, as well as an Afghan pizza restaurant. In season, the swimming lake has a lifeguard and bars and cafés.
Guests have their own private driveway, terrace with table and barbecue, and access to the studio apartment. You are also welcome to share the six acres of grounds, swimming pool with sun-loungers, and pool-house with bar and summer kitchen. Two adult bicycles are available to borrow, or we can provide safe storage for your own bikes. Clothes washing and drying facilities are available on request.
The hosts live in the main house, and are available to answer any questions or give advice about the area. The studio is attached to the main house but with a private terrace and entrance. The main grounds and pool are shared with the hosts and a small number of other guests.
We look forward to welcoming you to Green Horizons.
Greeted by our lovely hosts Ruth and Peter, we liked Green Horizon
immediately. We stayed in the spacious studio with a spare bed and
enough privacy for two persons, a kitchenette and the feeling of
living in the middle of the huge garden. Cats were everywhere and the
pool was very appreciated after a long day discovering the Pays
Cathare. The B’n’B is very good located (even when you are arriving by
UFO ;-)), with Puivert and its Castle in walking distance. Thanks to
good timing we even got to see a great firework at the lake of
Nicole and Bernhard
Thank you so much for your lovely review Bernhard and Nicole. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us, and liked the garden and the pool. It was great that you arrived on the day of the Puivert firework display! I do hope your onward journey went well, and we very much hope to see you both again sometime. Ruth and Peter
