We are not dull or boring. Both of us are very involved in our wonderful country community. We love to travel and do so at every opportunity. (We have an amazing concierge, who is your host when we are gone.) Tony was born in Buffalo, New York. He then lived in Montreal, Canada, where he learned a little French. Before he came to Tennessee, to find and marry me, he enjoyed Hawaii for 12 years. I am a Minnesota country girl that grew up on a dairy farm. I herald from a large family, 6 siblings, 81 first cousins. I aspire to be fluent in Spanish, currently I speak it slowly as a tourist. In the winter, I try to get some quilts made, put jigsaw puzzles together and make lists for Tony, who keeps busy fixing things all year round. In the summer, besides keeping the hummingbirds fed, we have a large garden. Both the B&B and our cabin were built by by a fellow named Squeamy Womack. Our cabin in 1929 and the B&B in 1952. Squeamy, ( I love that name), did an excellent job as evidenced by both cabins being structural sound after surviving a tornado in February 2008. We were displaced for 4 months. We would be happy to show you our rustic cabin, no matter how dusty it might be, if you are interested. Just ask. May 2014 marks our 1st year as innkeepers. We are thoroughly enjoying this retirement adventure. In case you haven't guessed, we enjoy people and hosting and look forward to your visit, then you coming again.

During your stay
Our home is just across the yard from your cabin, we enjoy people, and have lots of ideas of things to do in the area, which we are glad to share. It is almost like going on holiday ourself.
