The kitchen is fully furnished. There is a secure WiFi with fast Internet connection. The building is very safe and has a double entry doors, one accessible with an electronic key.
I will provide you with city maps, useful books for visitors and a piano for someone who likes to play music!
My three bedroom apartment, is located in the centre of Prague in the historical part registered under UNESCO heritage. It's walking distance from the most important Prague monuments and locations such as Wenceslau Square, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Charles University (the oldest university in Europe) and Dancing House designed by architects Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunic.
My street called Zitna has had its name since the times of Charles IV more than 700 years ago. It's in a dense city neighborhood but it's also loaded with history. The famous Czech composer Antonin Dvorak lived on this street. One of the rooms has the view of the house where Einstein spent several years during his time in Prague. The view from from the terrace stretches all over the city cenrer as well as the President's palace Hradcany across the Vltava river.
The subway and street car stops are a short walk away. The are several good restaurants and pubs nearby with original old brewery. The apartment is only a few minute walk to the famous pub "U Svejka".
My apartment building is called “Edison Palace”. Aptly named, at the time of the construction in 1924 it featured the most contemporary amenities of the time. Its in perfect condition having gone through a detailed reconstruction that preserved all historic elements including the oak hardwood floors and the 3m tall ceilings. The design is eclectic with modern elements used only where necessary for comfort and safety.
The apartment is on the 4th floor and is accessible via the recently replaced elevator. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens and a huge entrance lobby. All three-pane sound isolating windows have been meticulously restored in accordance with Prague historic reconstruction standards.
A contemporary central heating system provides nice warmth in the winter and the apartment is pleasantly cool in the summer.
I have been retired for several years now after a long career in the fashion business. My favorite hobby is cooking and my speciality is baking bread (I can teach you if you are interested).
