Interaction with guests
The owners, Joy & Matt, live onsite and are available for restaurant recommendations, directions, etc.
We ask guests be kind and considerate of the rental and surroundings. The studio has outdoor space near the guest bedroom upstairs so be aware if they are home to be quiet and vice versa. In the event Rincon shuts off their town water supply, we have a pump and water reserves. We request guests conserve water when using water reserves. So not to attract any critters, please wash all dishes and remember not to leave food out.

Barefoot Adventures P.R. is what you get when a yogini falls in love with a surfer. I met my husband Matt here years ago when he gave me my first surf lesson. That was enough to quit my job in the States, donate everything and move on down to paradise. We got married in the beachfront yoga studio that I now manage and bought a house which we love to share with guests. While I'm into all things related to yoga and the guest house, Matt spends his time making custom surfboards, fixing them and teaching surf via Salvo Surfboards. We spend the winters working in the surf & yoga business and the summers searching for any wave, standup paddleboarding and going on adventures around the island. We've lived here year round for over 15 years so have plenty of information about the town and island that we'd love to share with you.
